Arbites
10-25% Damage vs Electrocuted enemies.
Target receives 1-4 Stack(s) of 10% Damage if already Staggered. Lasts 5s.
14-20% Strength for 5s when every pellet in a shot hits the same enemy.
14-20% Damage on Second, Third and Fourth shots in a Salvo.
This is my first build I've been trying in high havocs, high dps stagger, and IMO decent survivability.
While you are hitting and killing things, you're pretty much unkillable, of course, watch for crushers and maulers. You use the shotgun to snipe specialist and anything at range.
In the mobility side, I still don't know if using the extra range on ult or the extra dodge and distance is better. I usually pick one of the two. I feel the extra distance on the ult is better to get out of sticky situations, but the extra dodge is hella broken too. I guess it depends on your preference, so you can swap them out and see for yourself.
Mix push attacks between combos, and you should do ok vs horde. The grenade is busted IMO, it feels better than vets frag, with the no dog node you get grenades for days, excellent to stun bosses, clutch ress teammates, and clear hordes or even clear stacks of range enemies.
From what I've been reading the arbites maul is the top dps weapon but I personally like the OG shock maul or the crusher if that's your liking, for the Skullcrusher blessing and Concussive combo, as it helps the team dish out more dps. The attack speed you get from this build is insane, and you have enough cleave and stagger to hold hordes without problem. But feel free to use any Arbites weapon, as everyone is top-notch.
Some friends told me of swapping the shotgun for the shield and pistol if you like having a better blocking option for range fire or tanking bosses, but I find it unnecessary if you know how to dodge and correctly block when needed.
As for curios, toughness is a no-brainer, and the extra stamina is awesome for blocking and reviving. If you are running the shield, I would swap the gunner resistance with more block efficiency or stamina regen. I don't take CD reduction on Ult because Targeted Brutality feels good enough but you can go for it.
Another node you can swap is No Escape. You can take the extra ammo, or take both the extra ult distance and Street Smarts. True grit can be a lifesaver. I feel judicial force can help you not get overwhelmed by hordes, but the ult for me is enough to make space or get out, or throw a grenade to instantly clear and stagger everything around you. Shield plates is also really good for tanking bosses, especially abominations and captains. And if you have the Pox gas modifier, Rebreather is super useful. For extra toughness regen, you can take Target neutralized, but I feel it's a bit of an overkill, as you shouldn't be getting hit if you are staggering and pushing everything around you.
Like I said, this is experimental at best, as I'm no min-max guy, I just go and recommend what I feel are the most useful nodes for this kind of build.
