Hitting an enemy gives them 1-4 stacks of 2.5% Brittleness. Debuff lasts for 5 seconds and can have a maximum of 16 stacks.
3.5-5% Strength for 3.5s on Hit. Stacks 5 times.
10-25% Damage vs Electrocuted enemies.
14-20% Strength for 5s when every pellet in a shot hits the same enemy.
I build I crafted for the sake of maximizing the effectiveness of the Shotpistol and Riot Shield, making it feel as good as it possibly can. And it does feel REALLY good here, with the dog picking up any slack you might have running around primarily with a ranged weapon out. This also then shifting to being the one build I crafted with Kill Order, as all my other builds wanted the point somewhere else. And tbf, one could instead put it into Ranged damage to TRULY max out the damage on the Shotpistol, but given this is also the one build that takes the CDR on Execution Order with Break the Line, I figured having a 'infinitely cycling' hound buff was pretty cool, and it ends up helping a pretty good amount as you go. Pretty simple set up, just gun everything down with the Shotpistol (including Monstrosities, as it's Penetration against them is actually quite high), while using the 'alt fire' on the pistol to bash away enemies with the shield (you can hold it down to actually do damage/swing it across your screen and line up a 'kill shot', which feels pretty good to do), and watch everything die to your fully upgraded dog as you reload quickly with Judicious Efficiency. You can then use Break the Line at any point one needs to to knock down a cluster of enemies in front of you if they start becoming too numerous, getting it back in record time allowing you to keep the wave constantly stunned, while swapping to your Combat Axe to make up the difference.Ended up centering on the Axe as it's the only melee weapon that gets full benefit from the crit/weakspot focus while also dealing with armor. I got other builds that more 'cleanly' merge the two by also grabbing Drive them Back and Weight of the Lex, but I wanted this build to focus on Shotpistol near exclusively (as the Combat Axe is used, so much since this class doesn't have access to DS/Combat Blade...or even the Assault Chain Axe...I would love an Assault Chainaxe...), SO, it's mostly just there to heavy attack Crushers and Scab Rager/Maulers down and that's about it. You can do a push attack for decent cleave against the wave, and rinse repeat that until you got a BtL up that lets you get 'Target the Weak' proced and go back to shooting/smacking everything. But yeah, it's a heavy/push attack machine and that's it.I take High Voltage because the damage with the Dog's Electrocution Augment is INSANELY good, and anything you want to put more than just 1-2 shots into is guaranteed to be under the effects of that (a Reaper dies in two shots regardless, so it's rather insane), so it ends up resulting in a lot more damage than Scattershot crits. The rest of the effects aren't really needed, and Full Bore is just insane for further damage stacking, so it's very nice. Other than that, just turtle behind the shield, bonk things as needed, and let your dog kill everything else with it's pounces in between shoves. Rather effective, even being a more 'melee' focused build that doesn't have Concussive + Suppression Protocol (as the shield makes up for the 'lack of DR', though you still have a lot of sources of it). Just make sure your dog is relatively near you/keep pointing it at things in front of you, and blow things up with Remote Detonation when needed too, further weakening targets to your High Voltage shots as well. Lastly, I take Ammo Belt because you're gonna want the ammo, but one can swap it for Withering Fire if they think they will get good use out of it, the Range Damage Pip, or anything else if they think they can get away with it (I just wanted to shoot gun lots, so more ammo for more ammo from pick ups good).
