6-12% Critical Chance for each Enemy Hit by your previous attack. Stacks 5 times.
14-20% Strength for 5s when every pellet in a shot hits the same enemy.
A build created because after the combat shotguns got buffed they are now...ok! Not like...good, I'm not going back to any of my other characters and using them outside of the token builds I already had set up or anything, but they are ok! So I figured I'd make one for at least the two variants that kinda do something, with this one being for the Mark VII, or the slug shotgun. It works rather well, picking off targets between you and your dog both, getting large amounts of bonus damage, and dumping shots into the wave when desired for free crits and damage. Primary purpose is to run around with the Combat Axe with the added crit and go to town on things, using it's push attack with surprisingly high and effective cleave to take most things out, while shotgunning whenever needed to drop things from a distance. Slug hits pretty hard, especially when loading one after an initial shot to proc Scattershot, and the dog helps clean up the difference. Rapid Movement helps fund your push attack spam, while Soulguilt Scan keeps your weakspot hits on either weapon hitting like a truck. The obvious star of the show is Castigators however, this being a build that leans into it rather heavily as the CDR from Malocator lets you use it liberally and get it back rather quickly. Even higher dog damage, more damage for you as you wipe out specials, and more importantly, full refresh on toughness whenever you need it along with immortality levels of DR. It's what lets this build get away with completely ignoring Concussive + Suppression Protocol, as while they would be nice, nothing matters when you're dog's killing everything while you are immortal. Not much else to say beyond that, just push attack the wave with the Combat Axe as much as you need to, point it down even further with Remote Detonation to keep it thin and DoT'd, and shotgun everything else with your mildly more effective pellet stick. It's not Execution Shotgun levels of damage, but it's fun novelty, and worth the swap to if you feel like being 'a little less OP'.
