A build made with one express purpose, make the Exterminator Shotgun F$CK! Like, it already blows things away pretty effectively, but what if it dropped a Crusher in two shots? Well, with this, it does, it does pretty easily, without even using the special bullets. It guts everything, and feels really good to use on top of it. Judicious Efficiency is the one reload perk I've seen in the game that lets you load multiple shells/fully reload a shotgun without falling off after the first pellet. This lets you dump mags into crowds and watch them all get just utterly decimated, or, more often, just cleaning out a line of armored units without a care in the world. I take Nuncio mainly to be used a debuff tool for extra damage against tougher enemies, but it's only really 'needed' against monstrosities. Beyond that, it's mainly used as a way to get some extra DR and toughness (while regenerating pretty quickly thanks to Malocator), since we don't take Concussive or Suppression Protocols, or even Hold the Line. You hardly feel such losses though, as you melt everything with extreme ease, with Withering Fire letting you truly destroy anything you want by simply putting bullets into your gun. The main way to melt a Monstrosity as such is to load a Brittleness bullet, proc said Withering Fire, then dump your whole mag. The first shot weakens the target and procs Full Bore, the next 3 are under Full Bore and Sustained Fire, and that plus all the other tree bonuses means the target is DEAD no contest. Everything melts to this, especially if you land weakspot hits, with your dog keeping up the pressure and weakening them even further as you go. Everything falls to your shotgun, everything dies to your will.And during the moments you don't want to 'waste' precious ammunition, the Assault Chainsword has your back. Just heavy attack the wave, that's it. Diagonal into horizontal strikes, proc Savage Sweep and Rampage and go. Buzz saw down a mutant/rager if it comes to that, otherwise just heavy attack away. It will all die without issue, especially with your dog pouncing around applying all it's effects, on top of 'pointing at it' for Remote Detonation to clean up the difference. If you want your Exterminator Shotgun to KILL, this is the build for you, it will do that and then some. The rest is self explanatory, all damage, sources of DR, and and dog upgrades, all to make the killing that much easier, and the tithe that much quicker to collect.
