Description
There are a lot of small tweaks you can do with weapon blessings and talents, because there are a lot of good ones to choose from to fit your playstyle. Anyway, blast your shotgun empty in elite packs and hordes -> enjoy endless toughness. The ranged staggering hits will pile up stacks of forceful. If you are feeling adventurous, also pop Castigator before doing so will result in any -and everything in the close vicinity to disappear.
Arbites maul is the usual. Light heavy, or heavy light combos depending on the opponent. For big armored enemy packs, it's usually good to do heavy -> weapon special to get dots rolling on them. Then a few regular hits and repeat. Hordes you can sometimes break the monotony by doing sweeping attack -> weapon special, but it's really not necessary.
Bosses are usually dealt with emptying whatever you have left in your shotgun and then popping castigator and going as ham as possible with the maul. It's good to also do heavy -> weapon special for bosses every now and then to get the dot going. It does not stay long, so reapply every 5-10 seconds.
