Guardian's: Recon Infiltrator | Weapons Specialist
 Veteran Build - Warhammer 40k: Darktide 

How this build works:

• This build is a centered around the Weapons Specialist Keystone.  Ideally you will use the Maccabian Mark IV Dueling Sword  to hack and slash through the trash mobs to get your 10 stacks then switch to your Crucis Mark XI Double-Barrled Shotgun and do a braced shot to the face of Elites and Specialists for a one shot kill for the next 10 seconds. Second, after killing 1 or more Elites or Specialists within the 10 seconds with your Crucis Mark XI Double-Barrled Shotgun this will give you the 1 stack (max) from your ranged weapon and then you can switch back to your Maccabian Mark IV Dueling Sword use a heavy attack to the face of any other Elites or Specialists left to one shot them and continue to hack and slash threw the rest of the trash mobs to get back to 10 stacks with your Maccabian Mark IV Dueling Sword and repeat the whole process over again.  This may take some practice to get into the eb and flow of this but the more your practice it the more intuitive it will become. (It took me about 12 games to finally feel like I wasn't over thinking the switch and just flowed naturally).

   

Things to consider:

1. You do not have to get 10 stacks with your melee weapon to get the benefits of the switch to your ranged weapon, just keep in mind that this means your ranged attack speed, reload speed, and crit chance benefits won't be as big as they can be.
2. Killing trash mobs still gives you stacks although it may feel like a waste it will help keep your flow back and forth between your melee and ranged weapons. With the On Your Toes Keystone Modifier this will help you keep your toughness up which means you won't take health damage.
3. Infiltrate will help you do even more damage to Elites and Bosses.
4. Infiltrate can also be used to help up teammates up without getting attacked or downed yourself (this comes in pretty clutch in hairy situations).

5. Both your weapons will struggle (but not impossible) to take down armored units (Bulwarks, Crushers, Scab Mauler, Scab Rager, and the new Scab Plasma Gunner) so use your Krak Grenade to dispatch these heretics.
