Description
Combining Immaterial Focus and Just a Dream together with Battle Meditation, Tranquility Through Slaughter and By Crack of Bone, on top of Scrier's Gaze with Reality Anchor combined with Disrupt Destiny+Purloin Providence all together gives you extreme tanking ability against everything except overheads and grabs as long as you keep shooting or swinging.
Kinetic Deflection paired with the Deflector blessing can be useful in buying time against a few Reapers or Gunners, but you can drop it in favor of True Aim to really get the most out of a Braced/Infantry Autogun or Recon/Infantry Lasgun or Shredder Autopistol if you're good at consistently hitting weakspots in full auto. It may also give interesting results with the fan-spread shotgun and cleave blessings.
Boosting your Crit chance as high as possible ensures you'll always trigger your passive "Quell on Crit" nodes, enabling you to keep your Scrier's Gaze rolling for its maximum duration as much as possible. Brain Rupture with the Kinetic Flayer upgrade gives you an easy free damage boost especially against Maulers and Crushers, or even Captains with their shield down. You can also trade out Brain Rupture for Assail if you prefer that, but it has less build synergy while also increasing your Peril buildup without much reduction.
I prefer the Illisi Mk V Blaze Force Sword for the cleaving activated attack instead of the single target warp channel, but either of the force Greatsword with Murderous Tranquility will work too with its massive horde clear ability.
If everything plays nicely and you've got the skill, you can ride Scrier's Gaze through a lot of encounters without much downtime, easily maintaining the full 30 stacks to massively boost your damage output straddling max Peril. I've also played around with trading By Crack of Bone with Mind in Motion just for fun to see if I can just Quell my way through a mission while keeping Scrier's Gaze active literally the entire run, and it's not efficient but it's really goofy and fun to act like an off-brand Zealot sometimes.
Stamina Curios with Sprint efficiency is my go-to for keeping up with the group during moments when you need to really rush through to objectives.
