 Veteran Build - Warhammer 40k: Darktide 

This build is meant to focus on killing smaller, lower-tier enemies while your team benefits from constant toughness replenishment. With toughness bonuses for yourself as well, you and your team will stay alive and in the fight longer.

Use “Covering Fire” and “Born Leader” to replenish squad mates' toughness, keeping them alive and in the fight. 

Use your braced autogun’s large magazine size to mow down low to medium-tier enemies, utilizing “Covering Fire”, thus keeping your team safe. Sustained fire also utilizes the blessing “Inspiring Barrage”, which further feeds into “Born Leader”, which keeps your squad protected further.

Save your ability for when a squadmate is Down But Not Out or when you are about to die in the most dire of circumstances. Use “Only In Death Does Duty End” in “Voice Of Command” to instantly pick up any downed teammates without having to stop what you're doing (laying down non-stop fire). 

With “Field Improvisation”, make sure you are the squadmate who holds the medkit. 

Because of your braced auto gun, you don't need traditional frag grenades for crowd control. Use your smoke grenades to cover your squad mate who's doing objectives, thus providing even more support and protecting your team even more. Smoke grenades can also be used to waylay pesky snipers’ line of sight. 

You are meant to play alongside and/or behind the team, but when you find yourself in a pickle anyway, use your sword as a useful defence tool. With better block efficiency, don't be afraid to put the gun away and hold block for prolonged periods of time. Your team should help you if need be.
