Dante inspiration aside, this is just a really fun build. You know the drill. Rebellion- I mean, Devil's Claw to dispatch chaff enemies, Stub Pistols to take out anything out of range of your sword, and then pop Desperado to go go on a shooting frenzy, Gunslinger style. Pocket Toxin Blackouts are a lot stronger than you might think, if you need emergency stagger/horde clear, or if you just wanna apply a few stacks of Chem Toxin to help you melt armor, which might be the one thing this build struggles with. With that Flak Armor damage perk, you should be fine for Scab Ragers and the like, but otherwise, throw a Blackout or let your team know to deal with it.
Side note, if you REALLY wanna lean into a true Dante build, swap Blackouts for the Boom Bringer. It's absolutely a worse pick considering you can't regen them, and this build is pretty self sufficient, but not only is the Boom Bringer incredibly funny, it also works as a bootleg Kalina Ann.
