Description
The whole focus of this build is proccing crits like a lunatic with our axe, while having our shotgun deal with anyone a little too far outside our comfort zone, while keeping the close range momentum.
The Agripinaa Mk VII is the best for this build, because it gives us our ace in the hole, the slug round, letting us deal with any pesky gunners and or snipers that may be causing us and our squad trouble. The Zarona Mk VI is just a worse Executioner shotgun, we don't need it, and the Accatran Mk IX shoots slower, with it's Incendiary Rounds kind of blowing in my opinion. While the other Mk's of this shotgun do more base damage, it's not enough to make any difference for what you'll be using it for. Trust me when I say IT DOES NOT MATTER, SLUG ROUND IS A LIFE SAVER FOR THIS BUILD.
You will mainly be spamming the hell out of your light attack on your axe while using this build. Combined with your stimm and Rampage, you will absolutely eat through any enemy in the game, maulers, ragers, and even crushers. Just be careful with crushers; while the damage is solid, carelessness can still get you killed.
You might be asking, "Why aren't you using Chem Grenade? It's OP!" BECAUSE WE DON'T NEED IT LADS!!!
Blackout is by far the best blitz for this build. With us chewing through any mob in the game with ease, we will be regenerating our blitz rapidly. With that in mind, this build will be using the Pocket Toxin talent, allowing us to both stagger, and toxify those who get in the way of our pay! Think of it like a baby Chem Grenade! This will allow us crazy setups with our melee against hordes of maulers and or armoured ragers, paired with the talent Toxin Mainia, we get a 15% max damage boost to all those rotters that we just knocked on their ass! Plus with our decently high crit chance and the talent Coated Weaponry, the more we slice, the more they get poisoned! You could trade out the blessing Brutal Momentum for Shred on your axe if you want more crit chance, but I believe it's fine as is. I don't mention using Slaughter Spree because I think that blessing is too unreliable to get the 100% crit proc from it, but I could be wrong!
If you're in a pinch, slam-firing your trusty shotgun will help tear through any mob with relative ease, including Reapers, and Bulwarks (if you can get past those pesky shields). Just try not to go for heavily armoured targets with it. At most, it's not terrible against maulers, being a three-shot to the body, and armoured ragers being relatively the same to the head with the help of crits, but you should definitely be using your buffs and axe to deal with them.
Lastly, our stimm. To put it bluntly, this will give you an INSANE boost to your damage to just anything in general. A toughness boost to help you brawl, and the icing on the cake, THE SWING SPEED BABY. You will be mowing through heretics like grass as the Emperor's lawnmower, trust me.
The only weakness to this build in my opinion is boss damage. While it isn't terrible, you might have trouble duking it out with some bosses. Against Beasts of Nurgle, its by far the easiest if you spam their backs with your axe. If I were to order boss difficulty with this build from easiest to hardest, it'd be: Beast of Nurgle > Human Mini bosses such as Karnak Clones and Random Generals > Plague Ogryn > Chaos Spawn. But hey, it's a team game! Surely someone else in the squad can bring in the boss damage!..... r i g h t ?
With that being said, get out there and carve up those rotters good lads! FOR FREEDOM!!!!!
