Show those Tox Bombers how to really clear a room.

STIM LAB + STIMM SUPPLY:

Pick whichever buff you want. Spend only one point for the lowest cooldown possible. This combined with Sample Collector and Practiced Deployment will allow you to drop your Stimm Supply with reckless abandon. With Booby Trap, this turns your ability into an on-demand toxin bomb.

Pop one near your friends to clear corruption, keep other scum topped up for Chemical Dependency, leave a nasty surprise around doors when you're being chased, or even drop one right in the middle of a horde and retreat. You should be effectively immune to taking corruption damage from:

  • Pox Gas
  • Pox Hounds
  • Tox Bombers
  • Poxbursters
  • Deamonhosts
  • Beasts of Nurgle

And more - as long as you keep dropping your Stimm Supply

  • This might affect grimoires but until Fatshark adds a reason to bother with these you shouldn't be picking them up anyway.

RANGED WEAPON:

The Branx MKII Needle Pistol is the obvious pick. A couple stray shots will make even the most resilient enemy melt away with a few hits and some patience. Use Stripped Down to dodge gunners or close the gap on enemies. Shoot a couple of alt fire shots into a horde for near-instant stimm cooldown. Pickpocket should keep your ammo topped up enough you don't need to race your teammates to ammo drops.

Dump damage or stopping power, all the real damage is from the toxin DoT.

MELEE WEAPON:

High crit chance weapons work best for crit-fishing Hyper-Critical procs. If you can get a chain of crits going, Maulers, Ragers and any other annoying specialists/elites in range will melt before you. Higher attack speed weapons will let you proc Hyper-Critical more consistently.

The Improvised Mk I Shivs work wonders, and the thrown shiv's innate toxin damage removes elites in a pinch. I also like the Catachan Mk VI Combat Blade (with the same blessings) for its mobility and ability to chain push attacks into heavy attacks for beefier targets. The Combat Axes or Tactical Axes also work well with Shred and Headtaker, but you might want to swap carapace damage for crit chance.

If you don't use a full-auto mod (or a macro) or would prefer not to give yourself an RSI from using the combat knife, shivs or tactical axe, feel free to use any melee weapon with decent crit chance.
