This is a pretty straight-forward guide on how to use this build correctly:
- It's mostly a melee build and you're only pulling the staff to quickly explode hordes that get too close
- Use the Blaze Force Sword's special action whenever you're facing multiple elites or ragers, the soulblaze will melt their HP and give you some edge
- Killing Elites will instantly give you Empowered Psionics, and since Cast Time is increased for this build, you can knock off two Maulers at once with just one Brain Rupture (while bellow critical Peril, first Mauler gets brain-nuked, the second catches some Soul Blaze and gets a brain ruptured by association, better loose those ranks, heretics)
- While bellow critical Peril, every attack on Specials, Elite or Monstrosity will give them instant Brain Rupture, with 12 s of cooldown, you're always dealing lots of damage without breaking a sweat
- Use Venting Shriek to soften hordes and quell %50 Peril, so you can pick off charging Elites, muties, hounds, anything that have at least a pair of legs and hate towards our Beloved
- It is important to build critical peril and than use Venting Shriek to avoid blowing yourself up, but even if you blow up you won't go down and if you manage to kill an Elite while you're at it, you're not even gonna feel it (it's best not to risk it in most occasions)
- High levels of Peril will increase your damage and cleave like crazy, but use it wisely as to not grief your own health bar with corruption
That's about it, it's plain and simple: blow their brains out, build up that Peril, Venting Shriek to melt the hordes, blow up some more brains, cleave down any heretic still standing, then "Oh, look, we're winning!"
