Description
without a doubt one of the best example of a glass cannon in this game, there is very little damage reduction from Gang Tough, Chem Fortified and Hive City Brawler granting ~33% damage reduction. in exchange, you get to turn the vraks into a bullet hose that last the entire match, and can only be matched by a Veteran with Shock Trooper in longevity. your only other forms of defense while shooting is damage walling (dealing so much damage that the enemy cannot reach you) and the extremely long dodges granted by Nimble and Fervor , which are enough to dance around trash when they surround you or while fighting monstrosities like Plague Ogryn. I would recommend switching to melee and blocking when targetted by a Chaos Spawn or Daemonhost, as they attack too fast to reliably dodge.
the crux of this build is Pickpocket , when it is likely nerfed, this build is very likely going to tank accordingly. probably still be functional, but not nearly as good as it is now.
gameplan is pretty simple, use Equip Cartel Special and Stimm Supply off cooldown, use the Vraks Mk V Infantry Autogun for sprinting, horde clear, special picking, and boss damage, and use either the Chirurgeon's Mk IV Bone Saw for armoured enemies or Boom Bringer for chaotic situations and armour packs. aiming for head level is ideal for boss damage and special picks, HOWEVER you can one-shot trash enemies with crits to the body, so it's usually better to rely on crits from Chem Enhanced and Float Like a Butterfly than to aim for the head and miss due to recoil
make sure to use box (Stimm Supply) after stimm is on cooldown, otherwise the stimm supply will just consume the stimm without granting double bonuses from using stimm then supply, and thus no value is gained from Practiced Deployment.
one can kill armoured enemies directly with the Chirurgeon's Mk IV Bone Saw, but it is faster to apply brittleness from the purple coating (wepaon special) with 4 light attacks and then shoot it with the IAG
Vraks Mk V Infantry Autogun is specifically chosen because of its long crit chains and absurd dps, while still keeping enough damage to kill trash in one shot with most buffs active. carapace damage can be exchanged for flak damage if you feel like boombringers + bone saw brittleness are enough and you would like to kill scabs faster. Agripinaa Mk VIII Braced Autogun may also be used in this build (swap Swift Endurance for Cheap Shots) if you would like some crowd control via suppression and less reliance on weakspot hits (BAG has really good bodyshot damage) in exchange for some DPS and mobility.
most negotiable talent points are Swift Endurance (used for faster brittleness application from bone saw) and Speedloader (really important for horde clear, you can also take the speedload blessing on the autoguns if you want to specialize into horde clear)
most negotiable stimms are Wildfire III, if you're already dealing so much damage, and Kalma III, as this is mostly important for teamplay, it's not super valuable for pubbing due to inconsistent teammates although it is very powerful for oneself). Fervor is addictingly powerful and at least Spur IV is necessary for this build to get good dps, toughness regeneration, and weapon swapping.
