Ogryn build designed around squishing carapace, boxing bosses, and controlling melee space.

Gameplay: This build offers your team the ability to hold space against against large carapace hordes WITHOUT kiting, this power is augmented with a shock mine arbi. You are a primary boss fighter except against Beasts of Nurgle, which you will struggle to dodge puke as a big ogryn. When bosses spawn, your job is to taunt and then pull the boss away from the rest of the horde, and let your team peel for you while you fight. Particularly against a captain, a coordinated teammate applying skullcrusher will do a lot to assist your burst DPS.

Important notes:

Ripper gun MUST dump ammo as much as possible, you need to have a magazine with 19 and not 20 rounds so you can proc blaze away and inspiring barrage faster. When you take toughness damage, fire the ripper gun (you don't even need to hit anything!) and you can rapidly heal in a pinch. You also want Dedicated Practice to assist in this. Related note, dealing burst damage to captains is why you take Flak damage on the pickaxe.

YOU SUCK AT KILLING GUNNERS. GUNNERS ARE NOT YOUR JOB. If you can, talk a teammate into taking smoke grenades or psyker shield you're happy. If not, then your job when gunners are around is to peel for your backliner. You're a fat ogryn; you will take more damage from random gun grunts than any other source. PLAY YOUR CORNERS AND WATCH YOUR SIGHTLINES AT ALL TIMES.

Flex talents:

Surprisingly, you need Great Cleaver or you will under cleave dense or Moebian 21st hordes. Impact is also cleave, but I haven't tested if taking Impactful lets you not under cleave these hordes. Either way, don't get greedy. Take at least one.

Crunch improves your burst damage against captains, and can enable (inconsistent) crusher oneshot-headshot breakpoints if you take slaughterer instead of Headtaker, even into Havoc, as long as you have ALL your buffs up including the 20% damage amp from taunt.

Rock can be traded for a grenade, based on personal preference. Check with your team to see who needs grenades. You're not supposed to be special sniping, but rock gives you an option in case your team falls asleep. Your pick can 1sbs muties, so no need to rock those in most situations. I don't find myself throwing enough rocks to take That One Didn't Count, again, your job is not special sniping at distances further than the ripper gun's range.

The best talents to drop would be Slam, For The Lil Uns, or No Stopping Me. No Stopping Me is very comfy (especially if you have Crunch), but not strictly necessary. Other talents to take would be Don't Feel a Thing/Unstoppable or Strongman

I would not recommend taking Batter or any rending talents. You tend to kill things you hit before they can take any noticeable bleed damage, and your carapace adm is already ~95% with the operative modifier.
