Someone asked. Is it optimax? Probably not, but it works for me.
Perilous Combustion + Souldrinker + Wildfire: melts packs of gunners or ragers with toughness regen.
Kinetic Flayer is optional, but I get a lot of use out of it.
Seer's Presence is the best aura in the game - fight me.
Empathic Vision is "optional" until you run into gunners or reapers at range, then you'll wish you had it.
Venting Shriek + Becalming Eruption + Creeping flames: absolutely melt dog packs, great for hordes and roving groups
Vulnerable Minds, Penetration of the Soul: because crushers exist.
Warp Siphon + Warp Battery + In Fire Reborn: moar burn moar gooderer.
Enjoy getting carpal tunnel from LMB spamming the staff light attack. Heavy is mostly for catching annoying fast moving targets (dogs, ragers), staggering Bulwarks/Crushers, or when you want to bounce a burster. Monstrosities get the knife.
Snipers are instant death if you aren't max health, IMO it's not worth swapping curios for resists; just dodge them - but they need to die first after disablers. Also: fire bad.
I play on PC and use mods - mostly accessibility stuff like Clear Smoke, Get Out of the Way, Zip It!, etc. - just so I can see and hear the damn game; but Emperor's Guidance is borderline mandatory with Kinetic Flayer so you don't denotate poxbursters on your squad. Danger Zone is also really useful for not killing your friends - if that's a concern.
