The Preacher: Faith-Based Support
 Zealot Build - Warhammer 40k: Darktide 

This build allows the Zealot to serve as the squad's faith leader, providing team-wide buffs and crowd control. While you are primarily a support specialist, you remain highly capable in melee combat.

Core Mechanics

 Chorus of Spiritual Fortitude: This is your signature ability, used to provide tremendous buffs to the team and cast enemies into a state of panic.

 Support & Defense: Key nodes for this build focus on maximizing the effectiveness of your Chorus through critical cooldown reduction and additional team buffs.

 Aura Selection: Use either Benediction or Beacon of Purity to provide utility to your squad.

 Defensive Synergy: Use Shield of Contempt to further increase team survivability.

Loadout Recommendations

 Melee: Focus on high-mobility weapons to offset the "heaviness" of the Flamer and provide survivability.

 Dueling Sword Mk IV: The recommended blessings are Uncanny Strike and Riposte.

 Tactical Axe Mk VII: The recommended blessings are Brutal Momentum and Shred.

 Ranged: The Flamer is highly recommended for this build, as it allows for excellent crowd control and suppression.

Playstyle and Team Role

 This build serves as a defensive support specialist.

 While you deal less raw damage than a pure DPS build, you grant significant safety to the team due to the long duration of the Chorus.

 In a meta team composition, this build can be swapped in for the Veteran, Ogryn, or Zealot roles, though the Psyker should typically remain to provide area control and damage.

 Because your melee weapons focus on lighter options, you have the mobility required to safely reposition and manage your Chorus uptime.
