Talent Tree
Description
This is meant to be a versatile, team-oriented loadout meant to help you and the squad survive difficult engagements. The skill tree prioritizes staying in close proximity for added coherency veterans, and you'll divide your time between gunning down hordes, dueling elites, and yelling 'til your voice goes out.
Tried and tested in Damnation-Level Maelstroms, Tainted Sacraments, and Nurgle's Might.
General playstyle is fast and mobile, alternating between the Devil-Claw and Lasgun for chewing up hordes.
Devil Claw's parry is very effective against Ragers and Maulers, and can, shockingly, parry Crushers as well. The heavy strikedown is good against carapace, giving us a strong secondary option if the Kraks run out.
The Recon MK VLC is a solid middle-of-the-pack choice, and maximising crits will mean more proccs of Shock Trooper. The lasgun is a mighty beast, but she's a hungry one, so don't forget to feed her. You can also swap to the MK XIV, and I'm very partial to its massively increased cleave.
You need to be fast, mobile, and situationally aware- sacrificing a toughness curio for stamina is risky, but the payoff is worth in in a skilled hand- more time to block, push, parry, sprint, and make use of Deadshot.
Stick with your team, target ranged elites when you can, and don't let off the trigger.
