/Best way to stay alive is to target specialists with your ZAP!, you get an AOE soul blaze and increased dmg on the repeated hits if you are dealing with maulers, also specialist KILLS give you another free ZAP, chain all these ZAPs together and the wave is gone, specialists and all, and you are on like 30% peril.
/Your dodges and slides are this classes' bread and butter, be like the wind and crouch slide at every opportunity since it replenishes faster than the basic dodge
/Make your character short to abuse hitboxes
/My advice, if things start to go to shit, whip out the staff and let loose with it.
/When you are out of venting shriek and at 100% peril with everyone down switch to the sword, charge her up and let loose a few times, by then you are again at around 40% peril so you can whip out the staff or start zapping again.
/Just be warned you only have 2 hits before your toughness breaks and 1 from the bigger enemies so use your blocks effectively and watch tour back, this class isn't really a frontline, more of a battle assist since you are heavily rewarded for specialist ZAPs. i tend to stay in the middle/rear of the team, watching our backs and pushing forward when waves and especially long range specialists are around since you only need a pixel of their head to lock on you can effectively peek out from behind cover with your zap and clear an entire wave go gunners that are suppressing your team and give everyone their toughness back while doing it.
