Description
This build is designed to quickly come online and shred all enemies in Melee with Finesse Strikes, and maximizing Ability Usage to activate numerous buffs. Massive toughness generation with the excess being rerouted to our allies. Artificer Skull for targeting those obnoxious specialists who're guarded by a wall of bodies. Medicae Skull for saving allies blocked off by a wall of whatever downed them. Having your Ability and Keystone by 18 in an efficient and potent path is the goal of the build.
Chordclaw by level 5, Satiated Steel and Axial Slash for clearing out Deathballs; Flux Conduit Build-Up then Medicae Servo Skull by 10. Residual Current Buffer, Sequenced Charge, and Power Overflow before grabbing Redline Capacitors and the wing of Upgrades except Capacitory Limit Override. Dip into Binary Ballistics Protocol and Moebian Conductor, Ammo-Cell Augury to Reactor Coil Recharge; then stretch down to Hydraulic Impact and Uncapped Arrestor. Auto-Repair Doctrines into Galvanized Plating; your final point can be spent on either Foe-Render Creed for the Aura and Toughness, or Adaptive Combat Calibration for Passive Cleave, Shockline Breach Protocol for higher Activated Cleave, or Weakness Analysis Doctrine for eking out that last optimization of Damage Buffs.
Once at 30, a few alterations can be made for more offensive capacity, such as dropping Surge Extension and Uncapped Arrestor in favour of Electro-Strike Conduit and Retribution Conduit to enjoy the exceptional damage boost of up to 35% Damage to Electrocuted Targets on your Melee Crits. You can also swap your Satiated Steel for Slice and Dice, the Damage Boost from using Chordclaw sparingly for stack maintenance can allow you to absolutely obliterate Bosses by expending your full suite of Ability Uses.
I think there's value in maintaining the base Aura especially if it stacks with the Upgrade.
Melee-wise, either the Transonic Blades, which I intend to main, with Superiority and Perfect Strike. If Deadly Frequencies gets buffed, it may well be worth it, but for now having a relatively constant 30% Strength beats getting 30% Damage every few attacks while dedicating your attack patterns to flowing between your Attunements. Or the Mechanicus Power Sword with Decapitator/Superiority, or potentially Machine Spirit Resurgence in place of Decapitator, to maintain the 24% Strength Buff of MPS' 6 Stack Buff; a 3 second Cooldown with fully charged Heavy Attacks might just be able to feed into itself.
For Ranged, the Phosphor Blast Pistol with Infernus, to light up Targets (which activates WAD). I'm using Man-Stopper to maximize the spread of the Phosphor Debuff and Burn Stacks. Otherwise Surgical for reliably increased Crit Chance.
For Curios, I usually take my first Curio at 8 with a Wound for having the most bang for the buck; 10% Experience into 4% Ability Regen, which translates to 4% less Capacitance needed for a Charge, which is even more useful to Skitarii than for other classes, with any Talents that activate on gaining or spending charges, like several of the ones in this build. The third Perk I'm taking is Toughness Regen for trying out how it works with the base Aura and maybe combined with Resurgence, but any of the usual options are just as good as ever.
I expect to be using 3x 17% Toughness, 5% Toughness, 4% Ability Regen, and 30% Toughness Regen to be your team's Battery Pack at 30 into Auric.
