Description
A paladin of the living lightning, bursting with crackling retribution for all who come near you.
I have attempted to create a build that permits you to use both weapons effectively. An all rounder, and comfy. I love the idea of the Voltaic Discharge, even if it does seem a little buggy at the moment. Just make sure that there is a clear line of sight between you and the enemies you are discharging at. It cannot pass through obstacles.
Flensing Protocols, Uncapped Arrestor, and the base attack speed of the Combat Blade make it so that you become a storm of blade strikes after just a few successful hits.
The class has a base critical chance of 7.5%, Flensing Protocol adds around 12%, Last Stand Relay adds a fluctuating 6-10%, 5% on the Combat Blade’s perk and 20% on blessing with riposte. This means that you are restoring toughness, gaining toughness DR, and restoring capacitance constantly. Additionally, you are electrocuting enemies every other attack, which stacks brittleness, grants toughness regeneration, and gives two damage buffs thanks to the blue nodes at the top of the tree.
The Arc Rifle handles stubborn packs of gunners at range. It arcs between carapace covered enemies, has respectable boss damage and panic firing damage thanks to Dumdum, and decimates hordes once you put a few lightning bolts downrange. With Ammunition Restoration Pod and Gunsmith, you always have a high damage option to switch to in case of emergencies. Pull it out when you discharge Voltaic Emitter, and the arcs between enemies can handle a massive crowd quickly.
Voltaic Emitter can be spammed thanks to the capacitance regeneration. It serves as a fantastic panic button for when you get surrounded, and the speed of your combat blade makes it so that you are never too far away from a single burst that will stun enemies for two seconds and buy you time. Open engagements with big crowds when it is at full charge, and you can shred through them.
All glory to God for His blessings and for Christ our savior, and may you be blessed. Thanks for reading.
