Description
Hello! Here’s my favorite build for the Transonic Blades. I’m not claiming it’s the best build, but it’s definitely the one I’m most comfortable with.
That being said, here are its main features. The build is based around landing critical hits with your weapon in order to electrify enemies. You can remove the point from the Electro-Strike Conduit perk and invest it elsewhere if you prefer, but aside from that, I believe every other perk is essential for the build.
With the Transonic Blades, you’ll have excellent horde-clearing potential. As for your Phosphor Blast Pistol, use it to deal with elites at range. Don’t hesitate to make frequent use of Chordclaw Strike to keep your Flensing Protocols stacks active.
Most importantly, don't forget this: if you want to melt a boss’s health bar, empty an entire magazine from your Phosphor Blast Pistol into it first, then immediately follow up with charged attacks using your Chordclaw. This is extremely important if you want to take the boss down as quickly as possible.
As for the talents, there’s nothing I would change if your goal is to be as effective as possible. The same goes for the blessings. You can change them, but the build will simply be weaker. No matter what alternative setup you choose, it won’t be as optimized.
Now, let’s move on to curios. I recommend triple Toughness. In my opinion, there aren’t really any other viable alternatives. At most, you could replace one with a Stamina curio, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend using a Health or Wound curio.
For the curio perks, all three curios should have Combat Ability Regeneration and Revive Speed. There’s really no reason to choose anything else for those two slots. As for the third perk, that’s entirely up to you. I personally run +Toughness on all three because I never felt the need for resistance against Gunners or Poxbursters.
That said, feel free to choose whatever suits your playstyle. One piece of advice, though: if you decide to stack damage resistances, don’t use the same one three times—for example, three Gunner Damage Resistance perks. That’s not the most effective approach. At most, use the same resistance twice, and even then, a single copy is usually enough.
That’s everything I wanted to cover. I hope you enjoy my build! Feel free to let me know what you think, and especially let me know if you see any ways it could be improved.
