Description
Sprint around like a maniac. Chop things to pieces with the Paired Transonic Blades. When you see mixed hordes or bosses, put a few shots into them with the Phosphor Blast Pistol first.
Most importantly, ALWAYS BE MARKING. Mark elites. Mark specialists. Mark bosses. The more enemies you mark, the more tanky you become, the more toughness you distribute to your allies, and the more damage and kills you'll rack up without even trying. The game plays itself so long as you keep something marked and remember to re-mark an enemy when that something dies.
Your servo-skull will out-DPS 99% of Veterans you come across. Trust me.
Why no ability?
Servo-Skull is your ability. Activate it by marking an enemy.
Why no capacitance nodes?
You're not using an ability, and your servo-skull doesn't actually require 25% of your capacitance to be activated, it just consumes that much if you've got that much. Basically, you don't need any capacitance whatsoever for this build.
Why Flensing Protocols?
Incredible uptime plus meaningful boosts to damage, attack speed, and critical hit chance. You can also just use your ability to restore all charges, which has some nice synergy with this build since you're not using the ability for anything else.
Wouldn't *insert melee weapon* here do more DPS than the Paired Transonic Blades?
Probably, but we're looking for efficiency over DPS with regards to the melee. The blades hit fairly hard in single-target mode, have insane cleave that will chunk through even the most dense of armored hordes, and a solid critical hit chance that'll still allow you to apply your brittleness/electrocution status effects. On top of all that, you get four dodges, good stamina, and high mobility. These things easily outperform the rest of the Skitarii's melee arsenal, IMO.
Okay, but why use Superiority instead of some other blessing?
Besides Superiority's great uptime and solid damage buffs? Servo-Skull kills trigger this blessing. Yes, you read that right: the Servo-Skull's elite and specialist kills will trigger this blessing.
Hybrid Combat Covenant also works with the Servo-Skull, though; why aren't you using it?
I find it hard to justify removing any of the other talents to take that node. You've already got so many active damage buffs that (per my own testing) another 15% doesn't make a meaningful difference.
Why three +15% Corruption Resistance buffs on your curios?
These make Ablative Wards (which is already really good) even more effective. You'll take 0.6 corruption damage every 20 seconds... to say it slows your corruption gain to a crawl is an understatement. You can just ignore modifiers like Pox-Gas and The Blight Spreads. Feel free to consider them flex picks, though.
