Description
The purpose of this build is to mitigate the Mechanicus Power Swords weaknesses while building into the Phosphor Blast Pistols strengths.
For auric.
•--- Power Sword
The swords stamina economy is awful; blocking, sprinting and pushing.
+10% stamina on a successful dodge helps out a lot. The curios and their perks help even more.
With everything set up like this you can confidently weave in push-attacks and blocks while in thick hordes.
80 Mobility for the extra dodge.
Chained Deathblow helps with horde clear, gaining capacitence and reaching breakpoints we miss out on for not taking Flak. Sunder for damage and cleave on Carapace.
-•-- Combat Ability and Keystone
The claw with the swipe is meant as a tool to supplement the sword.
It lets you quickly deal with problems that can be too time consuming for the sword when there's a lot on screen, like mutants, ogryns, bunched up elites and hordes bogging you down.
The sword deals great damage to bigger targets, so you don't need to rely on the claw for boss damage or for Crushers, etc.
Three claws will get you out of most situations, and you have great capacitence recovery. You'll want to constantly hit weakpoints with the sword. Your attack speed is as fast as can be and you crit a lot. Chained Deathblow on the sword and the crit built Blast Pistol has great synergy for you to keep clawing even with only three charges.
Flensing Protocols for more damage, toughness DR, crit chance, attack speed and capacitence gain on elite and specialist kills.
--•- Phosphor Blast Pistol
-30% spread means you reliably hit targets when hipfiring up to 20-25 meters.
You can choose to aim center mass with this build, since most shots crit, and Flak + Opening Salvo crits one-shots all human-sized gunners and specialists to the body.
The gun cleaves through two Flak enemies at a time, meaning each crit can kill three lined up gunners.
Very easy to keep up stacks of Galvanic Marking Array.
Auto reload talent means you can spend your ammo, go back to melee and know you will have a bullet in the chamber for when the flamer or trapper turns up. And if it isn't fully reloaded then that bullet will most likely crit, thanks to Crucian Roulette.
---• Blitz
Shield is pretty good. Three charges of ranged immunity lets you close the distance and be the first to dive into hordes of Gunners and Reapers, and focus down Snipers without cover.
The electrocution when you pop it gives you an opening to whip out the gun and line up your shot. It also helps when overwhelmed or while reviving teammates.
