Description
This is a fast high damage crit melee build with decent ranged, toughness, and support.
This build is meant to be played similar to a melee Hive Scum but is more versatile. You can face tank hordes and dance around armored mobs. It's important the combat blade has max mobility and max finesse because this is a movement build. There's enough DPS to face any mob. Stamina regen is important.
Trash mobs and horde - face tank them, slice and dice - they carve up easily.
Armored elites - dodge and dance around them, stab them in the back. You have enough speed and stamina to dodge and attack.
Specialists - double tag to set your servo skull on to them. The Noospheric Command talent is extremely effective, it's like having a cyber hound only faster and deadlier. It can efficiently deal with specialists and armored at great distance, and even get a pox hound off you if you've been pounced.
Crushers - Wear them down with the arc rifle. Set your servo skull on to them. Use the Chordclaw Strike ability Slice and Dice talent is essential), dodge and stab them to add bleed DOTs. Note: this is where the Flesh Tearer blessing for the knife really shines when combined with +crit talents and especially the Weakness Analysis Doctrine talent.
Use the Chordclaw Strike ability to make some space if you get too overwhelmed. Don't be afraid to use a charge if your Flensing Protocols stacks drop below 6, the Enhanced Capacitance Protocols keystone modifier will recharge it.
The Branx Mk IV Arc Rifle is an all rounder - it's great at clearing space, but really shines when watering down advancing hordes or long distance specialists. The +25% carapace armor damage perk is not essential, but useful - the idea is to wear down them down at range so by the time they get in your face, a few crit jabs with the knife and some bleeding will finish them off.
If downed, don't forget to double tag any elites/specialists that are attacking you - you'd be surprised how effective the servo skull is at dispatching them with Noospheric Command, even crushers. This gives you more time whilst you wait for someone to get you up.
If you want to tweak this build to lean slightly more towards the Branx Mk IV Arc Rifle then my recommendation would be to swap out Sequenced Charge & Honed Dissector , and swap in Ammo-Cell Augury and either Gunsmith or Galvanic Marking Array
