Description
UNCLE JOE IS COMING OVER FOR THE HOLIDAYS
As there are no trees for firewood in Hive Tertium, you must take as many heretic skeletons as you can to burn for warmth, instead. And to deal with all the pesky riot squads they keep sending after you for 'Terrorism', your Uncle has entrusted you with his family heirloom; a Locke Mk III Spearhead Boltgun . You need to make sure nothing ruins Emperor's Day.
- The Atrox Mk VII Tactical Axe is a strange weapon, but very good at taking skulls. For lone trees, use Push Attack > Light > Heavy > Light for the most single-target damage. Though ungraceful, you can also simply spam Light Attacks for softer targets such as Bosses. For hordes, you can simply use the infinitely looping Heavy > Light combo, or if you need space and stagger, Push Attack > Heavy > Light.
- Uncle's Bolter is great at taking out reprobates even at long range, but it can also deal with large groups of Muties or mixed hordes full of Ragers. It takes a while to pull out, but for reasons known only to Joe and the Emperor himself, using your Blades of Faith right as you equip this weapon will skip the slow animation.
- You have to kill. The hearth will go cold if you're too slow. Being out of the thick of melee means you have almost no means of regenerating your Toughness, leaving you vulnerable to even a stray hit or a few Gunners if it is depleted. Get stuck in like your Uncle Joe would, and you'll both survive much better and kill easier.
- Use Fury of the Faithful often - it comes back fast and gives you Toughness back as well as helps to trigger several of your talents. Group of Maulers? Charge at them. Reaper? Charge at it. A Sniper all the way across the map? You know it, charge at it.
