Description
The main function of the build is to share toughness with the rest of the team through Power Overflow while minimizing damage taken. This is generally achieved by taking all of the active toughness regeneration perks and abusing the interaction between the Evasive Servo Recovery node and the Stripped Down blessing on the gun. This gives you practically unlimited sprint potential while sharing excess toughness with allies along the way, as long as gunners are focusing you.
It also interacts really well with Ablative Motion Routines since the node needs some stamina to stay active. Dodging will also give you 25% damage resistance as long as you keep moving and staying active.
When it comes to weapons, I was mainly interested in the Confident Strike blessing on the Branx Mk III Arc Maul and Stripped Down on the Infantry Gun. The build is mostly melee-focused, where Confident Strike can generate excess toughness to share with the team. When needed, however, it is advantageous to switch to the Vraks Mk V Infantry Autogun and run back whenever you are getting crowded.
The Vraks Mk V Infantry Autogun is mainly there for boss damage and mobility. Its ammo economy is not all that great these days, but that is what the Artificer Servo-Skull is for. Against any ranged specialist or elite, you can simply ping it with the skull and watch it disappear. I suggest installing a mod that does this automatically so you can fully focus on melee, for example: "Skitarii_AutoSkull_HealFix_PsykerShieldFix_SmokeFix_SkullCommander", that you can find on nexus mods.
The keystone Flensing Protocols was picked because of its perfect synergy with what the build is trying to achieve. It generates toughness from elite and specialist kills, which can then be redistributed to the team, while its subnodes also boost other parts of the toughness-generating kit.
For example, higher melee attack speed means that Confident Strike triggers more often, while the increased critical-hit chance generates additional toughness and damage resistance through Power Redistribution Uplink. The extra crit chance from Last Stand Relay and extra 5% crit chance on the Branx Mk III Arc Maul was also picked
Note: The build was crafted around the fact that Noospheric Command does not need capacitance to trigger, which cleared out a lot of space for all of the other nodes picked. If you try to copy parts of it and add capacitance-generating nodes, you will only do yourself a disservice. These nodes are actively not needed, and you should not be generating capacitance for blitzes that are not included in the first place.
