- There is an alternate build using a shield:

- also for open maps
- the alternative build just uses the shield instead of power maul (same talent tree)
For this build:
- use push a lot to exploit brittleness stacks
- spam light attacks and spam push in-between for tougher enemies
- charge power maul (charged) heavy overheads on armored enemies and mutants when possible
- Use Rumbler when pinned down and for Beasts of Nurgle
- use nades for picking downed teammates up (throw nades into the threat, say like a mob of machine gunners to interrupt them before running in, or at the teammate, preferably both) - timing takes practice to get perfect not to get hit.
