Description
Right, I've made an account just to post this build, I've seen a few that use similar builds but weirdly enough not many that use Advanced Combat Doctrines to great effect.
This is my personal build that I run when I'm feeling like I both want to switch my brain off and back the team up. It is capable of performing well on your own, but I use it mainly in groups that already deal with aggro.
---------
So here's the general idea.
* I take the Artificer Servo-Skull with only the Medicae Servo-Skull as on higher diffuculties just pinging enemies for your skull to fire at takes up most of my time, I use the medic skull when someone gets downed in crowds of mobs, preventing me from running in like a fool and adding to the body pile.
* You'll want to pop Advanced Combat Doctrines when you see something like a group of gunners or ragers or the like and pick them off pretty quickly, you can also 2/3 shot crushers, sometimes one shot if you've stacked crit by landing already. Switch weapons when the threat is deleted, with Gunsmith and Hybrid Combat Covenant even with the low ammo of the Branx Mk CV Galvanic Rifle you won't need to reload too often, and hybrid helps with more damage and an aggressive playstyle.
*Take Redline Capacitors, Capacitory Limit Override and Resource Optimisation Canticles for survivability and to buff doctrines. As you're going to be using your gun for the immediate threats that ranged enemies pose on higher difficulties you should have doctrines ready to go for a good chunk of the game.
*Although you can take whatever melee you like, I personally prefer the Branx Mk VI Mechanicus Power Sword due to good horde clear, nice dedicated damage on beefier enemies/bosses. You'll be using the shove-slash, light slash, heavy slash into the infinite light slash, heavy slash - repeating for most of your horde clear.
Alternately if you need a bit more OMPH you can just throw a standard light, then hold the alt fire into a light, alt fire ect ect. You get the idea. Once you get used to the rhythm you'll be tearing through hordes of chaff and elites with ease.
That's the general idea, it's my first build so it's probably not OPTIMIZED so if you see things that are redundant feel free to tweak, I'll make updates as they become relevant, but for the most part I think this a solid build overall.
Also fun, and that's the main reason I'll use it ;D
