Build Overview
This build is my go‑to Skitarii setup, and I only modify it by switching between the emitter and the claw. I got hooked on the Flensing Protocol and the Medicae Skull. Also, the shock synergy for melee combat is extremely good.
Skills:
- Voltaic Emitter
Use it with 2 charges when possible, but don’t hesitate to use it with 1 charge if needed (for stagger or +20% toughness).
- Voltaic Restration
A flex node—you can swap it for anything, but for the Emitter I think this is the safest option.
It’s the only direct team‑support node other than the Medicae Skull.
Giving you and your team an instant 20% toughness on any ability charge is very useful, especially for you, because aside from this node, only Flensing gives you instant toughness (15% on kill) among the selected nodes.
(Voltaic Overcharge gives better toughness, but it’s only for you.)
- Flux Conduit Build-Up
It doesn’t give massive caps like other “on kill +n%” instant sources, but since you want 2 caps to use the emitter, any amount is welcome.
Curios:
- Stamina regen
Pick whatever you prefer. I’m a Psyker main, so stamina management is hard for me
- Revive speed
A must‑have even with the Medicae Skull because of ledges.
I think it also buffs the skull’s revive speed, but I’m not sure.
Weapons:
- Power Sword
I’m a chud controller enjoyer, so using the weapon special attack is a pain (right aim stick press).
So I built it to avoid using empowered attacks if possible.
Please build it to your liking, but the stats, blessings, and perks themselves felt good to use.
- Phosphor Pistol
Snipe priority targets, apply debuff/DoT to elites and bosses, and don’t forget you can shoot into a horde to apply the debuff since it has a small AoE.
Blitz:
- Artificer Servo Skull
Tag bosses to apply the 15% damage‑taken debuff.
I would tag more often, but tagging with a controller sucks and I’m too lazy.
- Medicae Skull
Use it as often as possible, because in the current environment not many teammates pick up grenades.
But make sure to give them one first if they need it.
About the Video:
The team was obviously really good random mates.
So your experience may differ, but even a controller chud like myself can clear Havoc 40 with randoms with decent damage and kill output.
I think it shows this build is decent-ish.
Also, sorry for the Power Overload slander.
I was pissed after losing a few games using it, and it was my skill/build’s fault, not the keystone’s.
It’s a cool and team‑supporting skill, I think.
