Description
This build is mostly for fun and for those who are tired of stupid meta and want to experience something different, fresh and still being satisfied by killfeed on top left with high-risk-high-reward playstyle. Oh, also for wild west fans. WARNING: this build is not for newbies, players with skill issues and NOT for Havoc 40! It kills, but it's very ammo-hungry.
<Melee>
Atrox Mk VII Tactical Axe is my personal favourite melee tool as for sweeping through hordes and eliminating elites up to the Scab Mauler - it's fast, it stings, it staggers and grants enough mobility to replenish your stamina, I'll explain later.
Catachan Mk VI Combat Blade is a good option with Serrated Blade node, it's even better in terms of mobility, but inflicting less DPS to elites. And since Uncanny Strike was nerfed from global rending to local brittleness it's less effective with Shredder Frag Grenade, but still can give a punch with Precognition and Mercy Killer (thanks to combo with serrated blade node).
<Ranged>
This whole build are about unlocking the potential of Agripinaa Mk XIV Quickdraw Stub Revolver . You might wonder why this little toy gun is in the spotlight. High spread, low base damage compared to Zarona Mk IIa Quickdraw Stub Revolver , and a full-cylinder reload instead of topping off one round at a time - it seems very awkward to use. But I decided to turn those flaws into strengths, and here’s why!
Deadshot offsets the awkward handling and aiming. High crit chance from Crucian Roulette plus weak-spot damage buffs from the matching Marksman nodes, Precision Strikes , Trickshooter and rending+finesse from Marksman's Focus stacks reliably one-shot Maulers; Crushers take 1–2 headshots. This revolver shreds every boss in 1–2 cylinders (except story ones and captains) with proper aim. Rending Strikes and Bring it Down! are the cherry on top to hit the breakpoint. Perfect balance!
But the hardest part is your aim and stamina managing. You got two options for it:
1) Tunnel Vision at 10+ stacks helps you sustain your toughness and replenish stamina with each weakspot kill, including horde\trash enemies when needed. Keep counting heads and you'll be having nearly full health thanks to the ESSENTIAL for any vet Iron Will node.
2) If you feel that your arse is getting pinned - don't mix up the foolness with bravery - toss out the frag, grab your melee and get out of trouble until you restore your stamina, get better position for your High Noon time and get back to it. Atrox Mk VII Tactical Axe and Catachan Mk VI Combat Blade are both good for it - both has has good stamina amount and recovery speed, though combat blade is superior in this matter.
That's basically it.
<Optional nodes>
Volley Adept can be switched to Serrated Blade for Catachan Mk VI Combat Blade as told at <Melee> section. Also if you prefer TacAxe like I do it can be switched to Grenade Tinkerer if you are grenade enjoyer, or +25 toughness node to feel more tanky.
That's it. This is my first build to share in here, I hope you'll enjoy it as I did. See ya around, space cowboy!
