Patch Skitarii Class Live

Description

EMPEROR’S AEGIS — HAVOC 40 ZEALOT
Researched 22 September 2026. Built on Games Lantern’s SKITARII CLASS LIVE tree, 30/30 points. Designed for reliable Havoc 35–40 clears, team protection and useful damage. This is a researched recommendation, not a claim of personal playtesting or a guaranteed clear.

PATCH WARNING
Depths of the Damned is scheduled for 29 September. Its preview changes Chorus, golden toughness and the Zealot tree. Do not switch this build to the preview and assume it remains valid. Reassess after release. Auric is the builder’s closest available difficulty label; the intended content is Havoc 40.

LOADOUT — AIM FOR MAXIMUM PERK / BLESSING TIERS
Maccabian Mk IV Duelling Sword: 80 Damage, Penetration, Finesse and Mobility; 60 Cleave Damage. +25% Carapace and +25% Unyielding. Riposte IV + Uncanny Strike IV. Precise heavy weakspot thrusts are your answer to isolated armour and monsters. Dodging activates Riposte and Duellist; weakspot hits apply enemy brittleness. This uses the current enemy-debuff version of Uncanny Strike, not obsolete descriptions of personal rending that carries freely between weapons.
Artemia Mk III Purgation Flamer: 80 Ammo, Burn, Cloud Radius and Damage; 60 Mobility. +25% Flak and +25% Unyielding. Blaze Away IV + Penetrating Flame IV. Use sustained bursts into dense mixed packs and bosses when the team can protect your firing position. Brittleness helps the team damage affected targets; it is not a universal flat damage multiplier. Use melee for ordinary cleanup to conserve fuel.
Blades of Faith handle exposed specials while the flamer covers crowds. Practice headshots and knife replenishment through melee elite/special kills. Long-range special control is this loadout’s main skill requirement; arrange reliable ranged coverage in the party.

CURIOS
Two +17% Toughness curios and one +3 Stamina curio. All three: +4% Combat Ability Regeneration and +12% Stamina Regeneration. Two: +20% Gunner Resistance. The stamina curio’s third perk: +5% Toughness. Games Lantern displays perk ranges; target these maximum values in-game.
Stamina supports blocking, pushing, safe repositioning and rescue attempts. Two gunner-resistance perks combine multiplicatively to 36% resistance against affected enemies, not 40% and not protection against every ranged attack. Cooldown regeneration is a rate bonus, not a direct 12% cooldown subtraction. Toughness regeneration speed is omitted in favour of active replenishment and stamina sustain. If chip health damage is your consistent failure point, replace one toughness main blessing with +21% Health.

WHY THE TALENTS WORK TOGETHER
Chorus of Spiritual Fortitude + Ecclesiarch’s Call: create a protected damage window, then grant +30% damage for 10 seconds after five pulses. Use it early enough to stop a collapse. You cannot attack or revive while channeling; teammates must use the opening.
Blazing Piety + Righteous Warrior, Scourge and Riposte increase melee crit frequency. Invocation of Death grants +100% ability cooldown regeneration for 3 seconds after melee crits. Keep fighting safely to refresh it; the old instant cooldown-per-enemy-hit model is outdated. Enduring Faith supplies 40% toughness damage reduction after crits. Stalwart adds further toughness sustain during Fury.
Infectious Zeal supplies allies with +10% critical chance during Piety. Blinded by Blood makes bleeding enemies take 15% more damage. Unseen Blade rewards helping against enemies attacking teammates. This is substantial offensive support even while your personal damage pauses for Chorus.
Beacon of Purity clears 1.5 corruption per second within the current wound for coherency allies. It cannot restore fully corrupted wounds. Shield of Contempt provides a short reactive damage-reduction window. Providence improves revives and protects assisted allies.
Until Death + Holy Revenant are the emergency recovery layer, not permission to eat overheads. Good Balance rewards successful dodges; Thy Wrath be Swift prevents melee-hit stun. Enemies Within, Enemies Without, Blood Redemption and Prime Target replenish toughness while you fight.
Anoint in Blood boosts close-range flamer damage; Purge the Unclean adds damage against Infested and Unyielding targets. Faithful Frenzy and Duellist improve melee output without requiring low health. Damage-reduction effects must not be added together as if they create immunity.

HAVOC THREATS AND MODIFIERS
Games Lantern’s H40 calculator lists reduced health/toughness, tougher elites and specials, faster enemies, more horde pressure and reduced ammo pickups. These favour active toughness generation, economical melee, deliberate pushes and team cooldown coordination. Do not assume Damnation one-shot breakpoints transfer unchanged to H40.
Rotten Armour was reported back in rotation on 14 September. Official patch 1.11.6 changed its armour override from Carapace to INFESTED. Purge the Unclean and fire cover that threat, while Carapace on the sword remains useful for ordinary armoured enemies. Old guides treating every Rotten target as carapace are obsolete. Flak/Unyielding flamer perks cover threats outside the Rotten pack; swap one to Infested only for a deliberate modifier-specific specialization.
The complete live modifier pool and your personal assignment cannot be verified from this editor. Check the actual mission card before launching. For corruption-heavy conditions, retain Beacon and move out of gas/ground hazards. If Pus-Hardened Skin appears, fire is useful; against healing or empowered enemies, focus the same marked threat instead of distributing damage. Never assume a stagger works on every modified enemy. New Vanguards and Packmasters add shield pressure and hounds: clear space, mark the Packmaster and keep disablers out of your backline.

HOW TO PLAY
1. Stay near the team’s damage dealers. Your mobility is for intercepting threats and returning to coherency, not running ahead.
2. Use sword lights and controlled pushes for light enemies; aimed heavy thrusts for elite weakspots. Dodge deliberately, reserve stamina and avoid backing into a corner.
3. Knife trappers, bombers, flamers and other exposed specials before committing to a long flamer burst. Push and dodge away from nearby poxbursters; do not shoot them beside teammates.
4. Flame when crowd density justifies the fuel. Keep an escape route and let burn finish weakened targets. Do not tunnel on a boss while specials surround the team.
5. Chorus when pressure spikes, teammates need an objective window, or a rescue needs cover. Stay close enough to include allies, dodge nets and charges, and call the window. It does not make positioning irrelevant.
6. Alternate with another Chorus or Veteran shout instead of stacking every defensive cooldown at once. Against multiple bosses, protect the player holding aggro and control the adds.
7. If another Zealot already provides Beacon, switch this aura to Benediction using the connected Faithful Frenzy route. Duplicate identical auras are not the goal. If the group already has ample flame coverage but lacks ranged special killing, a boltgun/bolt-pistol variant may serve it better; this flamer version assumes competent long-range coverage.

PENANCE PLAN
These are general Havoc objectives you can progress while playing Zealot. Complete 100 assignments for Havoc Mastery; assist other players with their assignments for Havoc on Hand (up to 100); reach Clearance 40 for the final Adept rank; open 20 weekly reward caches for the final Quartermaster’s Favourite tier. The Insane requires a rank 35+ completion with NO teammate downed. Use a coordinated group and proactive saves; your own survival alone is insufficient. Lower-rank successful assists can progress the grind objectives; H40 is not necessary for every completion. Weekly caches remain time-gated. Check each in-game counter and claim available rewards.

RESEARCH COMPARISON
Compared B-To-The-Ryan’s Ultimate Support (DS4/flamer and rescue tools), NRGaa’s Knife Support (mobility, protection and book uptime), Crukih’s Canoness (Martyrdom/eviscerator support), and Spicy’s relic-blade guide (now marked FUTURE PATCH). The shared foundation is team space, Chorus and reliable melee activity. This synthesis chooses full-health crit support, sword mobility, Beacon, stamina and layered defence for penance consistency. Relic blade offers stronger sweeping melee; knife offers excellent mobility; Martyrdom offers powerful low-health scaling. None is a universal best for every player or party.
