The combat medic is a support ranged build that specializes in regenerating allied toughness, maximises revival speed, and also increases everyone's damage. It works by utilizing cover fire, focus target, fire team, born leader and voice of command.

Cover Fire: The huntsman shotgun deals enough damage to kill any poxwalker near your allies in 1 shot, allies within 8 metres of that poxwalker replenish 15% toughness and gain 15% damage for 6 seconds. You only need to shoot an enemy every 6 seconds around each ally unless their toughness is low - in which case you kill more to keep regenerating their toughness via cover fire. The reason you don't want to keep shooting is you want to keep your threat level down, this keeps enemies targeting your allies instead of you so you can focus on supporting allies that need the boost.

Born Leader: The blessing on the shotgun also increase their toughness replenishment as you gain 6% toughness on close range kill from born in blood + 5% on kill from out for blood - if you get a headshot kill this adds an extra 15% toughness replenishment from exhilirating takedown for a total of 26% and your allies in coherency gain 25% of this so allies in coherency gain 6.5% toughness+15% from cover fire = 21.5%. On top of this you have catch a breath which replenishes 5% toughness per second to yourself and 1.25% of your regenerated toughness to all allies in coherency per second.

Focus Target: At 6 stacks any elite, special, or monstrosity you tag takes 30% extra damage from allies, when that target dies all allies in coherency including yourself gain another 15% damage and replenish 30% toughness and stamina. You also gain 30% toughness which adds an extra 7.5% toughness replenishment to your allies in coherency for a total of 37.5% toughness. If you kill this tagged enemy yourself, which your shotgun can kill most elites in 1-2 shots your allies also gain the bonuses from cover fire - see above. If this enemy is an elite enemy you also gain an immediate 10% toughness from confirmed kill which gives your allies in coherency an immediate 2.5% toughness and 20% toughness over 10 seconds (2% per sec) which you allies also gain 5% toughness over 10 seconds (0.625% per second). You also gain an immediate 16% toughness from Gloryhunter which gives allies another 4% toughness. This means if you kill a tagged elite enemy close to your allies and within coherency you gain an immediate 26+30+10+16=82% Toughness while your allies gain an immediate 20.5% toughness. If you kill that enemy with a headshot that adds another 15% toughness for a total of 97% toughness to yourself and 24.24% toughness to your allies - your allies also gain 30% damage from cover fire and focus target (6s and 10s).

Fire team: Allies in coherency gain 7.5% damage - at it's peak your allies will do 37.5% damage in general and 60.5% extra damage against the next target you tag.

Voice of Command: if you or your allies are in a pinch you can use this to heal all your toughness + 75 fixed toughness to everyone in coherency. It also staggers enemies and instantly revives everyone within 9m. So if someone is in a pinch you can give instant support. You can also use voice of command offensively to stagger and knock over enemies to finish them off with your shotgun or duelling sword.

Weapons: Your shotgun is your main weapon - you want to use this sparingly to conserve ammo and keep your threat level down - this is a support build so it works by empowering and supporting your allies by using cover fire but if you are separated you are still strong enough to hold your own. Your duelling sword is mainly for defense and repositioning - you can use it with weakspot hits + block to move around and then switch to your shotgun once you're in a better position - because you have withering fire you want to reposition your shotgun shots to line up enemies to cleave through them in a line. If you are in a pinch it is still an effective melee weapon to take out poxwalkers and smaller elites but you're not built for melee so don't rely on it. You can also use it's special to counter attack pretty much anything except an overhead from a crusher but watch your stamina.

Krak Grenades: This covers the weaknesses of your weapons - crushers and monstrosities. Because your weapons are weak against crushers you'll want to tag them with focus target then throw a krak grenade for an instant crusher kill. Your shotgun should suffice for bulwarks.

Revival Speed: You have an extra 30% revival speed from your curios and 20% from leave no one behind for 50% faster revival speed. You can use this instead of voice of command if it is unavailable or if it safe to just revive and you want to hold the charge to use strategically. This also gives you near instant revival for trapped allies if they're netted which can be combined with voice of command to safely get a trapped ally up (voice of command alone won't up a netted ally).

Field Improvisation: Allies gain extra benefits from medkits and ammo crates.

Damage Reduction: You have an extra 10% fixed toughness damage reduction and 50% toughness damage reduction when above 75% toughness from iron will and up to 33% toughness reduction in coherency from close order drill and 10% damage reduction on weakspot kill for 8 seconds from exhilirating takedown (or 103% total toughness damage reduction when above 75% toughness and everyone is in coherency and you've killed something with a weakspot kill)

Other notes: You have an extra 15% damage to elites and 20% damage to ogryns and monstrosities - this stacks for ogryns for an extra 35% damage + 15% damage if you haven't been targeted by a melee attack for 8 seconds for a total of 50% damage vs ogryns and 30% for other elites along with a fixed 10% rending (armor penetration).
