Talents

Description

Dive deep and hard with this build, you're most vulnerable when you're not hitting stuff as you need to be able to consistently proc your lvl5 talent, Faith Restored. Always look for flanking opportunities, and learn how to use the movetech associated with the Tactical Axe (Sprint => Heavy => Slide) to gap close enemies if your ult isn't up.

If there are too many enemies, don't forget to bring out your flamer and use PRIMARY FIRE to permanently stagger close to everything. A rager bullying you? Bully back with flamer primary fire, or tactical axe special attack. Your grenades are there to assist the team if they need help, as you'll seldom need it to approach the ranged enemies. Utilize the range of your flamer, as it will make ranged enemies flinch and look for cover at the cost of 1 ammo per primary fire, while staggering everything it actually hits. Don't forget your primary fire for flamer will also force hounds off of allies being eaten, so can be quicker than trying to kill the pox hound in damnation.

Tag high priority targets you can't reach/flank (snipers/gunners/reapers at a distance) but generally speaking these are few and far in between given how mobile you are. I can't stress this enough but look for flanking opportunities in maps. Darktide maps allows for varied approach that always gives you options to approach ranged enemies, even during endless horde T5 runs.
