are pretty self-explanatory: deflector has utility (other blessings are pony), exorcist (only good blessing) helps with quelling when manual quelling is not appropriate during hi-intensity engagements, focused channeling enables uninterruptable warp flame, terrifying barrage helps with cc. The perks are specifically chosen to deal with trash more effectively. If any elites get too close, use force sword special attack (preferably heavy) and kite-block back to avoid incoming dmg from trash, quicker than using BB when in a pinch, risky, so be smart. Purge staff should primarily be used to deal with horde and not elites/specials, BB bulwarks, crushers, reapers etc if at comfortable range, prioritise this over horde clearing. Using the force sword should primarily be to chew away at the horde to get peril down as fast as possible, once peril is down, and there are no elites trying to give you a Chelsea Smile, switch back to staff to horde clear; special attack flamers, hounds, mutants, and elites. Unlimited side dodges too so if in a pickle, 45 degree turn, and zoidberg out of the danger zone.
are the 30% toughness regen perks, helps a fair amount, bombers are annoying, so are gunners, and snipers are too, so mitigate their dmg and see the profit. No other perks really make sense. Perhaps ally revive or block efficiency, but for psyker not so much. Increasing toughness on psyker is a noob trap go for full health, you're squishy as it is and your toughness will be broken all the time regardless so the calculation shouldn't be “ how much toughness can i get” but “ how fast can i get toughness to regen”. This way, chip dmg feels less punishing whilst having solid toughness regen on top. Also, get a wound. Just do it.
are an important part in every build (duh), so don't be a dummy and have a wonky setup. Essence Harvest is the best toughness regen talent for psyker imo, with this build you should be BBing quite a lot, using Kinetic Barrage when you spot an elite to take them out fairly quickly and pick off any ranged trash, Inner Tranquility is a massive help for getting a fair amount of BBs out and to help us sustain purge staff secondary attack. furthermore, Psykinetic's Aura helps us reduce our ult cooldown with every elite kill by any teammate, even reduces their ult cooldown, the vet will appreciate this greatly. this reduction in cooldown will allow you to use Kinetic Barrage much sooner than usual, turning you into a heretic ogryn killing machine. The reduction is BB cast time also allows us to make better use of Essence Harvest. Kinetic Deflection is very, very good, allowing you to res teammates who are surrounded by enemies without getting too scratched up. Kinetic Flayer helps with WC generation, helps with Essence Harvest, and is also a random free BB. I've found it is much better to save up your WC for as long as possible, and make solid use of BB combined with the special of force word and horde clear potential of purge staff, Ascending Blaze is nice, but Kinetic Barrage goes to work son.
