Description
This build is designed to handle anything.
The catachan sword has wide sweeping attacks, solid cleave, and tons of damage on the heavy attack. Try to get a sword with high cleave, cleave damage, and mobility. being able to efficiently stagger multiple enemies in a horde is important. the damage vs. flak is to help cleave through the flak enemies mixed into hoards.
Push, light, light, block reset should be your typical melee rotation. opening with a light attack will chain directly to the relentless heavy attack for big damage/cleave/stagger. The first heavy attack is a strong downward chop, useful for headshotting armored enemies. We have better tools for that though.
The voidstrike staff will clear hoards and groups of enemies at a distance. its also useful for killing flak armored dregs. the primary attack is garbage but the secondary attack is fantastic. Try to get one with high blast radius, warp resistance, and quell speed. This staff will quell much faster than with no weapon equipped, so always bring it out when actively quelling. Use this weapon to blast through choke points and kill multiple enemies. watch your toughness fly up and your peril constantly quell from kills. It can be used to stagger ragers or maulers in a pinch but dont rely on it to kill them.
Brain Burst is your tools for elites, specials, and flak armored enemies at great distance. keep your warp charges stacked to six whenever possible. if you are running with friends, explain that they should let you brain burst lone enemies when not in a major engagement so you can keep your warp charges stacked between fights. against bosses and monsters, brain bursting three times will bring you to 100%. burst a fourth time and youll begin to perils, THEN use wrath to dump perils, and begin bursting the boss again, 25% faster and for 86% less peril. its a lot of damage.
