Divider

This is the end-game build for a full damnation squad. Mostly casting Surge/Lightning with Brainbursts mixed in. 

 

PARTY ROLES::

  • Vet: Directly tasked with killing specials and most ranged mobs. Bolter/Plasma/Recon and Power Sword.
  • Zealot: Horde control with flamer and heavy melee
  • Ogryn: Main tank, shield and grenade launcher (best at killing bursters with explosion damage and general special stagger)
  • Psyker: Backline support who's survivable and only one who can stun specials with minor horde control as well. 

 

ITEMS::

  • Sword: defensive blessings and traits to get you out of a jam when getting pelted with ranged fire. (alternate option: dagger, the dodge moves are insanely useful.)
  • Staff: perks that try and do extra damage to the horde enemies. The Blessings are there to help keep you casting as much as possible. Want to pick a staff that has good quell speed since the shock/stun is the bigger effect.
  • Curios: boost toughness and regen speed. (Feels like one wound curio is the sweet spot for keeping you from dying too often without going overboard)

 

FEATS BUILD::

This is designed to keep you at 4/4 warpcharge (WC) almost endlessly, buffing your damage, toughness, and perils control.

  • Essence Harvest: With this build you should be getting a WC every 15 seconds or better, that means you are getting 30% toughness heals each time a charge is applied.
  • Inner Tranquility: Since we are a 4/4 WC build we want to get benefits from that including reducing perils cost, this keeps us casting more often and reducing the chance of accidentally going over 100% while using Surge staff in a sticky moment.
  • Psychic Communion: In order to make sure your stacks don't fall off we need this perk. With the hundreds of mobs dying while in coherency your stacks will stay up, and also that means your 30% toughness heal will proc more often even when you are not casting anything.
  • Kinetic Shield: With 4/4 WC stacks up almost 100% of any fight we want the max bonuses. This toughness buff combined with zealot aura means you can soak stray ranged fire and not go down. Essence Harvest procs should hit keeping you topped up as well, even while getting shot.
  • Kinetic Flayer: While I was tempted to get bigger WC stacks the added bonuses of 2 more WC don't beat out the damage and utility of a FREE brainburst every 15 sec, does not cast from your peril. The 10% chance happens within a few seconds of coming off cooldown and will cast as long as you are not around 90+ peril. That Brainburst most often hits a trash mob netting you an easy WC every 15-20 seconds. That means you're refreshing your WC stacks and gaining an Essence Harvest heal. When targeting elites those damage procs can help down a mutie or some other threat your Surge staff is hitting. (note: these free Brainbursts won't always kill, again why we take Psychic Communion to ensure we keep 4/4 WC stacks)
  • Kinetic Barrage: Only choice that does not lose WC and also has best DPS.
