GamePlay Tips
The idea behind this build is to play an overwatch role for your team and taking out ranged threats and elites for your more melee-oriented allies. You want to keep your distance from most fight but so much as to completely lose coherency, but if you do that is why you have curios that help with toughness. You should more less be popping your volley fire at the start of every engagement and start picking off priority targets and as long as you kill those designated targets it will stay active pretty much the whole fight. You should kill and all enemy shooters your see so they cant light up your allies who are fighting the horde and other melee foes. When Elites come into the mix my priority list is Snipers>Trappers>Bombers>Gunners>Shotgunners>Flamers>Pox Hounds>Maulers>Raggers. This priority list is based of my experince of what enemies can potentially have chance to end a run and wipe your team. Ogryns with the exception of Reapers should be engaged in melee with your power sword with rending and the charge active. Grenades should be used more in supporting way and saved for emergencies, if teammate goes down is surrounded by a horde or is just in general getting overwhelmed a well-placed frag can decongest the situation giving them breathing room or a chance for an ally to rescue them. Now, if you do find yourself in melee typically a horde encounter the powersword is second to none in clearing them out. Activate the charge, aim for the head, heavy attack, dodge back and repeat the first three steps and you will be lopping off heads left and right. The power sword charge with a rending bonus is also really useful for killing Ogryns because the power sword charge pretty much ignores their armor and there is nothing got as satisfying as splitting a crusher in two.
Conclusion
That's all folks. I am by no means a darktide expert and the long-range approach may not be everyones thing, but this is a build I really enjoy and have had a lot of success with. That said I wish all you sharpshooters the best of luck in slaying heretics in the name of the God Emperor and carrying out his whill in the name of the imperium.
