Intro:

The Purgatus Staff interestingly has a stagger build into it's light attack, making it not only a horde weapon but also a cc weapon. You can chain stagger almost everything besides bosses and mutants. Suprisingly effectiv at keeping shooters from shooting if you slide around and light attack spam them. Dogs can be pushed of of team mates and even poxbursters can be knocked back. The secondary attack has a dot stacking burn with little to no stagger, that's why I recommend using Terrifying Barrage. Enemies around you get suppressed on kill and kneel on the floor, even if they are behind you. The second blessing is preference, Warp Flurry or Warp Nexus are viable as well.

Talents:

T1 - Choose your prefered toughness regeneration talent. Quitetitude has the option of regenerating toughness while in cover. Essence harvest is online almost permanently since you gain warp charges rapidly through other talents. Brain Bursting a sniper or bomber doesn't hurt either. Warp Absorbtion is the fastest regeneration option in hordes.

T2 - Psykinetic's Wrath for more burn damage. If you dislike juggeling max peril or like to protect your hearing/sanity take Inner Tranquility.

T3 - Psychic Communion must have talent, the build depends on the warp charge generation.

T4 - Kinetic Deflection if you like picking people up and/or have a good deflection Force Sword. Otherwise, Mind In Motion for QoL.

T5 - Kinetic Overload actually better than Kinetic Flayer. For example 4 stacks soulblaze do around 335 damage. 4 stacks soulblaze from other sources like your staff, ult, previous Kinetic Overload proc + 4 stacks from Kinetic Overload on top do 1300 damage. It's non-linear and without 15s cooldown. Only down side is that you have to manage your warp charges a bit since your ult expends them.

T6 - Ascending Blaze must have talent, synergizes with the Purgatus Staff since all it's damage is soulblaze. You will generate a ton a warp charges and at 4 stacks it pretty much wipes the screen after some seconds.

Weapons:

If you can't find a Force Sword with Deflector, dislike the moveset or want to profit from increased passiv quell switch to:

Antax Mk V Combat Axe with Brutal Momentum/Decimator (The only combat axe which has cleave as a stat, it starts to cleave 2-3 targets at 50% combined with Brutal Momentum it becomes very strong, push attack is great)

Atrox Mk II Tactical Axe with Brutal Momentum/Shred/Decimator (Great moveset, heavy attacks cleave well with Brutal Momentum, plays like a mix between duelling sword and combat axe, high crit chance)

Maccabian Mk IV Duelling Sword with Shred/Uncanny Strike (If you played rapier in v2 this is your thing, great moveset, great damage, great dodge, great speed, high crit and actually becomes viable against armored targets with Uncanny Strike, the best horde clear melee weapon without specific blessings)

Cadia Mk IV Assault Chainsword with Shred/Savage Sweep (Non warp Force Sword with better peril quell pretty much. Savage Sweep gives it much needed cleave and Shred works with the special ability, stacking crit chance rapidly)

Curio Stats are preference I recommend at least one with Block Efficiency if you play with Kinetic Deflection. Toughness is the prefered stat since shooters become the main threat at heresy and up. Toughness Damage Reduction is a meme and doesn't exist.
