Hitting at least 3 enemies with an attack, restores 12-15% toughness.
Critical Hits ignore Hit Mass bonus from Armour. {crit_damage} Melee Critical Hit Damage.
70-100% Critical Weak Spot Damage.
This is a crit and damage build, in a prolonged engangement you will have between 30-60% crit chance because of Scourge and Blazing Piety and you will take advantage of that.
In melee:
DODGE ALL THE TIME in melee to avoid taking more damage than necessary, Momentum on the chainsword is your safety net so keep hitting multiple enemies to regain the toughness.
Block into light attack is a very effective and fast attack to hit multiple so use it if the heretics get too close.
Light Attacks can be used most of the time on all types of enemies, you will 1-2 shot the majority of the specials. When swarmed, wide swings are preferred because of Perfect Strike, a good chain would be:
Heavy attack - light attack - light attack - block attack - repeat from heavy attack
Dont be afraid to use the charge, either offensively or defensively, because you have 2 of them and crits reduce the cooldown you'll get them back in no time.
Using the chainsword special can be handy to stagger enemies or to deal with armored ones like Crushers. Just make sure to dodge away before he slams the ground!
At ranged:
Use the Lasgun whenever you can, unless a horde is upon you or you need the chainsword to deal with a armored enemy it is safer to take all enemies out at range, even if that range is just 5 meters.
The XII got high damage and because of the perks/talents you'll take out most enemies and specials in a few shots to the weakspot. Combined with a huge ammo reserve you dont have to worry that much about conserving the ammo either if/when you miss, so keep it blasting.

Go ham.
Only mediocre damage against bosses.
DODGE ALL THE TIME!
If you pop Holy Revenant, try to play a bit safer until its back, then you go ham again.
Why this and that?
Chainsword - Versatile, good for hordes and specials alike.
Momentum gives all the survivability you need.
Perfect Strike is gonna help keep your wide swings going.
Why not Rampage? The buff is very short and you deal enough damage already I dont think it is needed, if you feel daring you could exchange Momentum for it, though you will be noticably less tanky.
XII Lasgun - Long range, precise, tons of ammo and very high damage against all targets except carapace armor.
Maniac and Unarmored damage perks cover a ton of enemies that needs to be dealt with quickly.
Deadly Accurate is simply more damage, aim for heads and get rewarded!
Secondary blessing is up to you, Headhunter is a good option for even more crit chance, but not strictly needed.
Curios
Corruption resistance is always useful throughout a game, gunner and sniper resistance might also be good, but unless caught in a bad position you never get hit from snipers anyway by dodging and gunners you usually deal with before they manage to shoot. Combat ability regeneration is overkill and not needed.
