Description
When you want more wounds... and then some more wounds.
Heavy Sword - low single target damage unless you use Heavy1 - so get used to block cancelling
Perks:
- Flak - Helps take out Elites and Scab mobs (melee and ranged) that this weapon doesn't instantly kill.
- Maniac - Helps to 1 shot head shot Mutants with Heavy1 - with some on hit stacks you do not need this, can be replaced with unarmored/infested for more horde clear.
Blessings:
- HeadTaker - still the best power stacking option, 1-2 hits in a horde will do it, and gives 40% power.
- Wrath - This or Rampage. Rampage will help with heavier single targets (elites/specials) Wrath will help clear hordes a bit better.
Boltgun (or Revolver) Only gun Zealot has access to that has brittleness. Revolver is currently bugged and gives Rending on crits for melee as well. Even without the bug handcannon+surgical it is okay for taking out armor. Make sure to proc your ult before laying waste to groups of Crushers as it effectivly treats Carapace as Flak for the first 3 seconds.
Perks:
- Carapace - A primary target for our gun, as our melee weapon has no ability to deal with it.
- Maniac - Killing specialists is a primary role here - can be replaced by Flak for better Gunner control
Blessings:
- Pinning Fire - only other damage blessing available, which makes it second best by default (criticals do not count on guns with such low crit damage)
- Shattering Impact - helpes removes armor up to 40% dealing way more damage to those units.
