12-24% Rending on Enemy Weak Spot Hit for 3.5s. Stacks 5 times.
Gain between 3.5-5% and 14-20% Critical Chance based on current level of peril.
2 Shots on Critical Hit. 2-5% Ranged Crit Chance.
If you're having issues managing peril you can change shield with venting shriek, but i highly recommend shield to prevent chip dmg from melee attacks due to ranged enemies depleting toughness on your team.
Each Assail takes about 10% peril on left click and 25% peril on right click.
Right click with Assail always target weak spots, and that means you can pretty much one-shot snipers.
Voidstrike with carapace dmg perk + surge makes you one-shot crushers and bulwarks.
Curios i recommend to always pick Stamina Regen and Combat Ability regen, it will remove some secs on your shield CD. And you will regen more stamina than you lose if you stop blocking between attacks from bosses. But Health/Toughness also works.
The third perks is pretty much preference, but i mostly end up choosing Toughness Regen, since it doesn't only make you regen Toughness faster but it also STARTS regen faster. So you can engage in more fights instead of waiting for Toughness to replenish.
For new players i highly recommend to change the third perks on the curios into bonus dockets, it will help you craft BIS weapons. Sometimes 1 weapon with perfect stats might cost you 300000+ dockets.
