Description

Divider

Play Darktide as a point and click adventure game.

 

Out of toughness? Yell.

Ally downed? Yell.
Ally low on toughness and your splash healing not keeping up? Yell
Playing with MLG players who don't go down or take toughness dmg? Yell randomly for dmg bonus

 

Body shots+Run and gun, aim when safe to drain your stamina and get more dps/ammo efficiency.

 

Krak Grenades since Smoke grenades are mid. But with all our rending+crit rending you can even lasgun crushers at a reasonable TTK.

 

Monstrosities = Mag-dump then throw 2 kraks on them. You'll do at least 50% of it's HP bar even if you're not hitting weakspots.

Get medipacs. Use them properly (At good hold locations). You restore corruption/toughness/HP and they heal 2x as fast compared to other people.

 

Power Sword only comes out for horde clear. 
 

Alternate Curio Perks in no particular order, season to taste:
I like Maximum toughness, as your abilities heal % toughness. Bigger base pool means bigger splash heals for the team.
Dmg resistance snipers if awareness/dodging is hard
Stamina Regen for more dps/ammo efficiency
Ability cooldown for more yelling
Corruption Resistance
Toughness Regeneration speed: I don't like it. You get no benefit if you're already at max toughness or if you just proc multiple regens. I don't like perks with dead time but I can see an argument for it having a place in this build.


Power Sword attack patterns:
2 attack patterns. Rank 1-3 Power cycler:

-Charge it
-light attack twice aiming vaguely for heads

-repeat

Rank 4 Power cycler:
-Charge it
-light attack thrice
-repeat

Specials. Our theoretical ideal situation is to shoot them with the recon lasgun. However, subideal situations occur.

If attacking a special with the power sword, headshots make a major difference. The best combo is: 
-Charge it
-push-stab
-light attacks (1 or 2 based on power cycler rank)

The Push-Stab on the power sword is fast and precise. If you headshot a pox hound, flamer, grenadier on any difficulty it one-shots them.

 

Footnote:
I'd love to switch to Survivalist instead of Fire Team for aura, but you'd have to sacrifice your crits applying Rending. Applying rending on crits with your 16.67 attacks per second is more valuable. That rending decreases the armor of the target for the whole team, which saves more ammo for the team than Survivalist does, nevermind decreasing TTK.
