When you need more dakka, and vet just isn't doing it for you (aka you want to be more OP) With a very boss tilt to it.

Heavy Stubber - To stack overwhelming fire effectively, we will want Krourk or Achlys. Gorg will need Blaze Away, which is fine but worse vs bosses.

Perks:

  • Crit Chance - We are only taking this for Charmed Reload as the finesse modifier on this gun is awful
  • Unyielding - for massive boss damage, can be replaced with Maniac if you are not worried about bosses.

Blessings:

  • Charmed Reload - Makes it so we almost never have to spend time reloading
  • Overwhelming Fire -  stacks very fast and stays stacked on bosses as Burn/Bleed refreshes the blessing stacks. Can be replaced by Blaze Away.

Alternate ranged:
Ripper V (or II) - Can apply bleed as well as burning for even more boss clearing - mostly for Boss Maelstrom modifier.

Perks:

  • Crit Chance - More bleed chance
  • Unyielding - more boss damage, can be replaced by Maniac

Blessing:

  • Flechette - 8 bleed stacks on crit, and you will have a lot of crit chance.
  • Cavalcade - More crit chance for more bleed, finesse bonus on this gun is bad so bleed is the primary function.

Bull Cleaver - III IV and VI are all very solid for horde clear, select your favorite variant.

Perks:

  • Flak - Better clear vs melee elites and Scab/Dreg melee units with flak armor.
  • Maniac - Largely for Mutants, can be replaced with your favorite other Perk.

Blessings:

  • Slaughterer - very solid horde clear blessing, only damage option of significance on the weapon.
  • Savage - huge increase to cleave, can be replaced by Confident strike if you want a more defensive option.

Note: always prioritize Toughness and Toughness Damage Reduction (TDR) as these nodes stack additively with the Ogryn base 20% TDR, allowing you to have uo to 50% TDR.

Consider taking Reloaded and Ready if you are running Ripper easily swap it for Maximum Firepower as it just makes your Ult cooldown tick down 3x as fast during those two seconds, and won't proc that often on most guns that aren't Heavy Stubber (Krourk and Achlys specifically) It also doesn't stack, so if it triggers twice is quick succession it will only refresh the duration and not give 8 seconds.

HUGE
Currently Ogryn has a base of 36% (20% TDR and 20% health resist, which stacks with itself for damage taken to toughness) All the toughness reduction nodes stack additively (30% TDR), and also stacks additively with Feels no Pain for 55% TDR. Together being a passive 71.2% TDR which is crazy.
