Auric Maelstrom - Double Rend Free Ammo

build 

primarily focused on doing massive damage with crits and two rending sources to destroy armored targets, while also being extremely ammo efficient.

free ammo + double rend

are the cornerstones of this build. lasguns get free ammo on crit. with crit boosting talents and vet aura this gives you incredible amounts of ammo for free. onslaught and chink in the armor provide rending allowing even lasguns to shred carapace armor enemies.

recon lasgun 

boasts a high fire rate, high accuracy and is ammo efficient. it excels at dealing with ranged specials and shooter squads. VId recon has a fast rate of fire allowing it to stack rend and infernus quickly, while VIIa will do more damage per shot giving you better ammo economy. feel free to pick any lasgun you prefer.

but i dont like lasguns...

if you dont want to use a lasgun; put on whatever ranged weapon you want (i've been enjoying the agripinaa infantry), but higher fire rate is preferred as it will stack rend faster and make it easier to keep your capstone up.

executioners stance 

should be used very often for both bonus damage and highlighting, it comes back quickly with tactical awareness. 

chainsword 

is a solid weapon for horde clear and boss damage.

shredder grenade

is useful for clearing the trash and softening specials and armor in mixed hordes.

your job 

is to stand behind your allies and eliminate every shooter squad and ranged special that enters your sightline. throw grenades at mixed hordes and armored targets, you get a free one every minute. when boss shows up light it up with lasgun to stack rend and burn, then switch to chainsword and use special heavy for bleed, then spam light till dead. dont forget that ADS drains stamina and gives crit, use it almost all the time but stop if you need to reserve stamina to block.
