The goal of the build is to be able to carry even the worst randoms through Standard Damnation or Auric Heresy. Auric Damnation requires a bit more out of your team so don't expect to clutch with this build consistently.

Bet you are wondering, why the Quickdraw Stub Revolver? Well, the revolver one-taps or two-taps elites and specials consistently when hitting the head all the way up to Damnation. It also has crazy high bullet penetration so collaterals are common. The only downsides I see to the revolver is its ammo capacity and reload time. I try to mitigate this by using Blades of Faith to help with the specials, and the blessing Speedload to help the reload.

Since the class overhaul and weapon balancing the Assault Chainsword is hands down the best melee for Zealot. The attack speed makes horde clearing easy and its special melts big enemies and monstrosities, especially when applying bleed through the blessing Bloodletter. DON'T use heavy attacks. They are slower with the Chainsword, but do the same damage as a light swing.

As for talents Until Death and Shield of Contempt are absolute musts, but everything else revolves on your playstyle. I personally like running Shroudfield to get out of sticky situations or pick up an ally while in stealth. Bringing Loner allows me to always maintain coherency which is vital for clutch situations.

The rest is up to your ability to dodge well and hit your shots. Now go smite some heretics.
