Hitting at least 3 enemies with an attack, increases your damage by 24-36% for 3 seconds.
25-40% Cleave on Hit. Stacks 5 times.
10% Critical Chance for every 0.3-0.45 second while aiming. Stacks 10 times. Discharges all stacks upon firing.
30-60% Rending on Critical Hit.
The Revolver build on the vet is very fun, and very strong. You can 1-shot any enemy in the game other than Monsters under Executioner's Stance, it comes out quick, and is pinpoint accurate. The only downside is the longer reload times, which can be reduced with Tactical Reload on the tree. With such a high finesse multiplier and already high crit chance, the build tries to stack as much crit as possible with Deadshot/Opening Salvo on the tree, and surgical on the weapon, allowing you to dish out insane damage very fast. Killing specials after using your career skill will give you 6 seconds of cooldown, creating situations where you are able to use your ability 2,3, or even 4 times before you start losing shield if you choose to go Voice of Command.
Because of Deadshot, stamina maintenance is very important. Keep an eye on your stamina bar and allow it to regen if you think you will be engaged in melee soon. This is why stamina regen perks are important on the curios as well as why we take Vanguard and Stamina Regen Boost nodes on the tree.
The melee weapon is a comfort choice of the player. Here I've gone with the Mk. 4 Catachan because of it's ability to clear through hordes which is the only thing this build lacks. I've also opted to give it block cost efficiency to give additional survivability in those clutch moments, as you're not trying to reach any breakpoints with it. All important kills are covered with your revolver, which should be out 90% of the time.
The Maniac perk on the revolver can be changed to reload speed if you find you need it. Losing maniac means you drop the 1shs breakpoint on both kinds of flamers without crit. Though, you crit extremely often with this weapon, making it unnecessary most of the time, and flamers are not usually a high threat enemy anyway. It's up to you which you prefer.
With Executioner's Stance and a crit weakspot hit all enemies but monsters will die in 1 hit. Including crushers.
If you choose to go Voice of Command, you still 1 shot all enemies except crushers, maulers, and mutants with a weakspot crit.
you can run Executioner's Stance if you want even more damage output and the ability to highlight specials, but I've found the extra damage is not needed. The saved points would allow you to take Confirmed kill, for the loss of survivability you had from Voice of Command.
For a little more survivability try out the above tree with Voice of Command. If you pair Voice of Command, with Tactical Awareness (-6s cooldown on special kill) and a quick special killing weapon like the revolver in higher level maps, you can sometimes use your career skill 3 or 4 times in a row. This gives the vet some much needed tankiness on the higher difficulties, as well as helps out the whole team. Other nodes on the tree worth considering are Reload Boost, for more reload speed, or dropping the reload speed nodes for grenade nodes, though I find these to be unnecessary.
