Description
Gameplan: Keep your ranged weapon out for the most of the game, your melee is here only for last minute horde clear(if you absolutely need to)/finishing off enemies.You want to shoot as much as possible(ideally while aiming down-sights) and focus on enemy disabler if possible, you will oneshot most of them from ~14 meters if you aim your shots well. Don't be scared to take a bit of enemy fire for your team, you have A LOT of toughness to spare.
About Curio: As 3rd perk for your curios you can really chose anything, I preffer sniper damage resistance, but bomber/flamer resistance also works very well, as does revive speed/block efficiency and toughness% for EVEN TOUGHER OGRYN.
About Shovel:Thrust is absolutely vital part of the build,Skullcrusher can be exchanged for confident strike if you like to get into melee.
VS Crushers: Use your melee, or use ability(effectively 6x on damage)/kill an elite enemy(effectively 4x on damage) -> shoot them. Don't shoot them(with the intent to kill)without ability nor elite kill, it will only stagger them. They are the reason why we take the shovel.
VS Monstrosities:Shoot->Ability->Shoot->Reload->Shoot as soon as you can->repeat 2 previous steps. Absolutely no aiming down sights, we want to keep our Blaze Away up, with this setup we can deal some sizeable damage to monsters.If needed be use your grenade
Horde Clear:Whittle them down with your ranged weapon(I recommend crouching and aiming down-sights) and if you need use the melee once they are close enough.
Big grenade: Don't use it unless:
1)You are overwhelmed and can save someone from being downed by throwing the nade
2)You need to revive someone
3)You see a juicy patrol of crushers/ranged enemies and you have no better way to deal with it
4)Maaaaybe for monstrosities
The grenade is your panic buton, you have only one of it, use it wisely.
