This build is for Auric Maelstrom level. If aiming and effort are important to you then look elsewhere! This build requires no effort - well, maybe a little. The hardest part is getting your first EP charge while the rest of your team uses all their grenades and rocks on the first couple of trash mobs and singular elites/specials, which I find extremely inefficient. As long as you keep at least 1 Empowered Psionics charges your staff becomes super charged for some reason! Now you can roleplay as your favourite super hero. The Super Mega Power Wizard from Space. Imagine Black Adam but with a walking stick and a sword you sometimes use because you CBA to quell and because why not. Now you can vape while you play, order a pizza, or scratch that annoying area below your desk which you would normally have to wait for a door scanner to do so. Stick some block efficiency on your curios and sword, and swap out something for deflection as your blessing, and now you can tank anything and everything! No questions asked! That's right, everything! (except snipers). If your team mates have questionable gaming strategies or make choices based on directional air currents then fear not, for you will carry them to victory - or at least the bots until someone useful joins.

How to Play:
Zap shit with your staff with Empowered Psionics and watch everything explode. When your team is about to get sniped or hit by something easily avoidable put your shield on top of them. If your team gets overwhelmed electrocute everything with your super powers and watch everything explode. Otherwise set everything on fire with your sword or by killing specials. For some reason it can be a ballache getting the EP charge back as it's not always generating charges on special kills, this is why I like to store 3 when I'm playing with muppets, otherwise I prefer to play the point in Kinetic Deflection. Sometimes I play it with block efficiency curios and deflector for a laugh which allows you to tank bosses/demonhosts, provided you quell after a couple of backward dodges to reset the free blocking. Got a separate sword for this though. Auric Maelstrom is now chill and fun! Trust me, I'm a Super Mega Power Wizard from Space.
When the council of Wizards nerf this build and dethrone us, I trust you all will join me in lighting a candle and remembering the good old days of the Super Mega Power Wizard.
Your truly,
Damodeus - Grand Super Mega Power Wizard... From Space.
