1-2 Extra Chained Energised Hits and 2.5-10% Impact on Energised Hits.
Hitting at least 3 enemies with an attack, increases your damage by 24-36% for 3 seconds.
14-20% Strength for 5s when every pellet in a shot hits the same enemy.
Up to 14-20% Damage on Hit (Staggered Enemy), scaling with Stagger.
Combat Flow:
The Agile Engagement passive is the key to this build's playstyle and combat flow. The almost instant swapping and firing of the shotgun will allow many one-shot kills on specials and elites. Ammo conservation with this build is very high when using Survivalist. The Deadshot passive is fantastic when using a slug round, minimal stamina consumed and a 25% minimum chance of a critical slug hit (cleaves through a few soft enemies) which can easily be followed up by normal shots now inflicting +20% dmg. The slug round (headshot) also knocks down Crushers and opens a Bulwark's shield. Voice of Command can knockback bosses and stop a mutant's charge. When you pop VoC you stagger all the affected enemies, this works well with the shotgun's blessing No Respite.
Combat consists of killing an enemy with a shot, swapping to sword for melee ->-> charge up -> perform block-attack energized stab followed by another energized light attack. Slaughterer can be swapped for Rampage (on hitting 3 enemies, deal 36% more dmg for 3 sec), if the blessing is active/stacks are up, the block attack stab can one-shot a Crusher on damnation and the follow up energized hits can find another target.
Toss your free regening grenades often as many Zealots and Ogryns benefit from having bleeding enemies around them.
The shotgun I currently use only has 70% Damage and 55% Stopping Power stats and it still annihilates heretics. My MK VI Sword has Power Cycler III/Rampage IV and regularly one-shots crushers and melts bosses. Near 5.5k per charged hit on Unyielding enemies. With Power Cycler IV (3 energized hits), this build would be even more insane.
CURIOS:
You can take any curios you want, I like to have a bit more stamina for blocking with this sword as the mobility is bad.
SUMMARY:
-High ammo conservation when killing specials and elites
-Two toughness dmg reduction passives
-Regenerating grenades for screen clearing/horde clear (toss 2 down, the bleed stacks will kill almost everything)
-Voice of Command will make you and your team hard to kill, spam this all game long, hear a Poxburster hiding behind a door and everyone is bunched up? spam it. Save you Psyker friends from that sudden sniper shot before the sniper even spawns. SPAM IT! Teammate is down? Pop VoC and res.
You use minimal ammo and regen grenades so that your team can take both. You constantly buff your team and keep them alive with Voice of Command. When fighting in the chaos of melee, cutting through hordes of demons with your energy sword, being able to instantly swap to your shotgut that can one-shot almost all specials and elites while giving your teammates ammo from your kill, you're gonna have a good time. Donating one slug round to a Trapper's head can feed up to 3 hungry Ogryn ammo bags. Donate today.
P.S.: I'm not sure if Power Cycler IV even exists, may the Emperor bless your rolls.
