First this is a re-build from "The Grimm Reaper" by The Aktion Window - YoutubeChannel.
I came along this build a while ago and i love it. This build gave me the free choise of engage ment and a very versatile option to choose if i want to retreat or deep dive into the enemys and vanish infront of them if i needed to.
With the new Traitor Curse patch the talent tree of the veteran get into a mess at least in my opinion and some of the key stones for the original Grimm Reaper are way off now.
This time it has no "Close Quarters Killzone" talent in my version of this build cause i didnt wanted to invest at least 4 more points to reach this talent and miss out some of the other that are more viable in my opinion.
Cause the original Grimm Reaper relies on a very high rate of fire i think the +30% of extra weakpoint dmg is worth the pick - Precision Strikes
In combination with the "Onslaught" and "Rending Strikes" you are able to bring down heavily armored enemys in no time.
In this build i reached dps values of 1,7k - 3,0k in the psycarium on difficulty 5. And im sure the 3,0k are only because the psycarium isnt able to get higher^^
Also i have a secound version of this build where i changed out the "Precision Strikes" +30% extra weakspot dmg for the "Shock Trooper" talent to make it run with laser weapons. No consumed ammo on critical hits is a good alternative for me and my favorit Laser Recon Rifles. You lose a bit of extra dmg and dps but you can deal more cause of more shoots.
Also tested this build with almost all range weapons for the veteran. Plasma and Boltgun. Automatic Rifles, Laser Rifles everything works now.
The final words: In my opinion the new talent trees of the veteran arent worth going all the way down to the bottum talents... It feels for me like you have to choose from specific playstyles like long range sniping to melee specialist or just a support spotter fire support. Cross picks arent really able if you want to reach all the way down. I dont even want to think about how many ogryn poo poo the devs had to smoke to messing the trees like this. But lucky for us the "Grimm Reaper rises from the trenches once more to hunt down the heretics of Atoma.
